Just landed today. Wanted to introduce myself... I contacted Gry Sarth a few days ago about his stats books. He was most helpful and sent a link to Krapou's site so I could acquire them. Gry was very courteous and invited me here. I have visited this site before, and browsed about... I like what I see and it seems everyone here is easy-going. I'm fairly new to the game, but I enjoy it. When I created my profile, for avatars, I was looking for an image of Exar Kun--the one from the cover of TotJ: The Sith War, where he's battling Vodo with his duel-bladed lightsaber... Unfortunately, it wasn't one of the choices, so this one will have to do for now. I have some questions, but this is not the thread or topic for those. Look for another post, It'll be in tools/fanmade... |

Hi, I'm Rutaka! I am very interested in the D6 system of SWRPG. It first piqued my interest in 2002-2003, unfortunately, real life got in the way. I just got interested again, and noticed that several SWRPG websites, like Chaos Crew, Yeager Sector, and starwars-rpg.net had gone down since then. I am very interested in learning about SWRPG and/or even participating in a game. It's very nice to meet you all! |

Welcome to the board. It's always good to have a new member to spark more conversation.
There are a couple of good websites out there. http://www.swrpgnetwork.com is still good, though they're really in a D6 lull at the moment. D6 stuff has been kind of tame there for the past year without any new material to convert or anything.
If you're looking for fan-based material for all D6 settings, you can try http://www.dimfuture.net/d6universe |

Yo. Been reading these forums for the last week or so. Decided to join in on the conversations.
Me and some friends were huge fans of the d6 Star Wars rpg in high school. I have managed to acquire the group's collection of books. I'm looking to start running a game for a few friends. Been buying some books off of eBay that we didn't have. We live in Arkansas, so there was no good place to buy the books, and e-commerce wasn't trusted when I was in high school.
I have to say that I'm extremely impressed with the fan made sourcebooks that you guys have assembled. I have spent this morning downloading them and looking over them. The Force Powers book is a-freaking-mazing, as is the Episode 2 guide.
I'm rambling in what should have been a short post. Well, in short, hi, I'm new and looking forward to talking to ya.

Hi, I've the Rancor Pit a number of times while surfing the web and didn't really pay attention to it until I chanced upon Gry Sarth's exellent fan books for the RPG. As I've recently been given/bought a slew of Star Wars D6 stuff, I've taken an Interest in the Affore mentioned fan supplements, which are good actually. This is a cool site. _________________ Not the droid you're looking for....... |

Hi folks. I'm k1darkknight, and I'm new to The Rancor Pit. I don't have a particular interest in RPG games, per se, but I'm looking for some detailed information to help Nathan Butler with a new feature for the 10th anniversary edition of his Star Wars Timeline Gold. I wasn't sure which forum would be most appropriate (or most effective) to post such a thread in, so I thought I'd introduce myself here, and get a suggestion or two, maybe?
Thanx all,
k1darkknight[/url]
