I know that Prime Directive is coming out in D6. A while back, probably in the 1999 range, there were several sites that had Star Trek stuff stated out in D6. It was the height of Star Wars, and many things were in D6, on the web, home-brewed.
Anyone have any of that Star Trek stuff, or any links?
Thanks for any help. _________________ Luke, I am your father.

That's...highly unlikely.

If you don’t take this seriously I'm out. |

Have you tried D6Universe? Here is the link: http://www.dimfuture.net/d6universe/index.php
I know they don't have a Star Trek topic, but there may be some stuff hidden in there you can use. |

Unfotunately, I have yet to find any D6 Star Trek stuff out there. The only stuff I've got is stuff I've created, and I don't think I've put that up on the site yet. You can check out the assorted sites linked from the site to see if anyone else has any information.
If you come across any, or create any, feel free to share it so that others that look for this stuff can find it too. |

D6 Prime Directive has been promised for a long time. I think they are on their fourth or fifth D6 writer now, so who knows when it will be released...
I haven't found any D6 Star Trek material out there currently and I've been looking for quite a while.
Happy to swap ideas and maybe develop something though! |

Yeah, if you let us know, we might be able to share what we have, or at least create some things that might be of interest to you. |

Well,
I was originally looking for this web page (that I had visited many years ago) that had stated out every conceivable Trek race in D6 along with stating out ships, ect.
I was looking for something to run with, but realize now that most those sites likely shut down when West End hit it's problems and lost Star Wars.
I have many of the LUG (Last Unicorn Games) Star Trek books; but I've never used their system. I'm also not sure about their skill system. If, (Big If), I understand it correctly; you roll your attribute in # of D6, take the best single result (ignoring the drama dice rules for now) and then add your skill rating to the die result. (Drama dice, if it's a 6 add your two highest, if it's a one........well bad things sometimes happen.)
If that's right, then High attributes only allow for skill roll consistency. High skills are the only way to beat some difficulties...although a consistently high roll would help. (Problem is that their "iconic" characters typically have little more in "raw" attributes/ highest skill levels than a starting PC. So, either the Iconic are down-played in stats, or a starting PC is much better than I expect.)
Anyways, point is that I don't fully (through personal experience) understand how this system would actually work in the end. I know D6 and trust it more.
If we are going to D6 Trek; I would recommend we would start with races and basically pick races from Star Wars that we think match closely the Trek race and then make any minor modifications; as needed.
Of course, if we are going to do this - I would personally want to bring the Psionics up to the new D6 rules.
I guess everyone can tell me what they think. _________________ Luke, I am your father.

I have all of the LUG Trek books and can help you with the game if you'd like, or we can start statting out some Trek stuff here. Were do you want to begin? Basic races like Vulcan, Andorian, Borg or with ships and equipment? _________________ Xynar

If you had bookmarks to those non-existent sites, then you could try the Way-back Machine (http://archive.org) and see if they have a copy there. _________________ http://www.frappr.com/d6meetandgreet |

And if you have those links, and you either don't want to check the wayback, or find some stuff there, let me know, as I'd like to get some of that stuff and put it up on D6 Universe. |
