All you need is the proper tools for the job, and the knowledge to use them.
Which he has in spades. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

Yeah Esoomians are weird but good, plus you don't know how big they are. One of the main reasons I generaly stay with humaniod characters. That way, no extra money on armor and weapons plus you can use ships and speeders.
I was thinking of making an Esoomian character of some sort with martial arts, and good Fighter/Repulsor engineer. I plan to turn a transport of some sort into a mobile home/speeder with big guns. That way I would be able to make it bigger than usual for the Esoomian... _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

I'm sorry but I don't like very strong characters. As MOG, they're just so irritating. Never did Auron, a near-human with 4d strength and a simple combat jumpsuit, get seriously hurt.
I favor speed over strength myself, though I saw a Nagai hit Ragnar three or four times with a sword and do nothing but scratch his armor. Perhaps something inbetween for good balance.
btw, when are Nagai going to appear on the species list? I only know of the one in Wretched Hives of Scum and Villainy. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

I've got this one place with stats for nagai, and they differ from the ones that we found Rathe... it's http://members.aol.com/heywood254/web/nagai.html
I don't think much if anything on this page is official, but it was a very interesting read anyway, check it out... the main page is: http://members.aol.com/heywood254/ _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. HOJIBS!!! *Bounces up and down* http://members.aol.com/heywood254/web/hoojibs.html
"Hojib!!!" "No Ray." "Aw comeon... They're cute, cuddly, and can feed off the Protocol Droid!!!" "No Ray, never." "Awwwwwwwww..." "Don't make me pull out my sword..." "OK OK... 'Nother smuggler then."
I've wanted to play other types of characters... But always with the "Can't do" my GM is... Never with the "Can Do"... |

Well there are the Yuzzum, and the Yuzzem, the Yuzzum are those goofy guys in the Special edition ROTJ that sings with the Max Reebo band.
The Yuzzem are these huge uber-strong Wookie/feline like guys from the Essential guide to Alien species. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

hojibs huh? I think I've read somewhere that one or two were employed at a catina of some sort to enforce the "no blasters" on the planet rule. Man, they must be a droids worst nightmare! Anyone out there who likes to play droids? _________________ wookies+lightsabers=bad day

The reason they have no stat ranges is that they aren't really an official species WEG just came up with a NPC bounty hunter (Tantor) who has those stats. So any attribute ranges you see are unofficial.
My GM for instance gives Esoomians a minimum of 1d in all non-strength attributes and a maximum of 3d in all non-strength attributes. Strength has a minimum of 3d and a maximum of 7d. The starting move is 11 and the maximum is 13 |

im pretty sure droids are more scared of Gammoreans than Hojibs.
As far as Esoomians go i've used them as an npc to keep my groups Bounty hunter in check when you say the room that you have been invited into has 2 Esoomians on either side of the door yet you can't seem to see through them. he asked what do they look like? i showed him the pick and let him know that these things could rip the arms off a wookie, ok that parts not true but he got the idea that they would be not nice to wrestle with.
As far as what i like to play its hard to say I've made a Wide varity of thinks currently im playing my NPC Barbel. i've played wookies humans a sullustian a Sluisi (he didn't last long but was fun) i don't think i really have a favorite i've never been one to take a favorite i like to try everything. i typically for an online game or even rpg try to play every Race/class combo i can. all if possible. typically i like roguish characters. _________________ Sabbac anyone? |

Coynite is good for a warrior great phisical atributes, and his stuff... dangerous guy. that's why my GM killed this character.
Duros is pretty good for a pilot
usually i play human characters, cause I donno how to play alien characters. specially for jedi I can't see any other matching race (I know, I've seen E:I & E:II, zabrak, twilek, and others...)
