				| I've modified the registration process so that it just sends an email to the admins. The admins then have to manually create the account. This is a bit more manual, and new people registering will have to wait for their account to be created, but I'm hoping that it cuts down on the number of spambots around here. Let me know if anyone has any problems with it. _________________

				| Although this may delay new members, this sounds like a fantastic idea. 8) _________________

				| Have a problem with it? I'm grateful that you're willing to do it! I'm sorry it means more work for you, but I'm happy that you took the step. Hopefully it works. | |

				| I registered after this change and can say that it is no hassel and while I have never had to deal with spambots on this forum, I know the troubles they can cause and applaud the administrators efforts. _________________

				| I too found that this new method was quick and easy. Thank you for hosting the forums and doing this extra step. | |

				| To be honest, I found this registration process pretty slow. Maybe I'm not a busy guy, maybe not too patient, but it wasn't nice to wait all these days (three or four, I'm not sure) without any knowledge if my application arrived or what.
Maybe add some automessage on e-mail like "Your application is waiting for administrator to accept it." just to ensure the applicants that something did actually happen.

Glad to be here finally though.

				| My wait was quite short. Definitely same day, and given I wasn't timing it, I think it was within an hour. So worked great for me. Thanks admin folks! | |

				| I think it helps when you have an admin living in your same time zone. Nonetheless, it wasn't too long ago that Loc made Gry able to create accounts. That's helped a lot. _________________

				| Yeah, I've been trying to process the registrations as soon as I get the message, so hopefully people aren't having to wait too long. _________________

				| ...A friend of mine says she's been trying to get validated for 5 months now: any idea what could be causing the delay on her registering? _________________
