I do apolagize for all the questions but I need to ask another....
Is there a good site for Force Powers or a list of them and what books they are in?
Thanks in advance! _________________ Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.

Funny you should ask...
Gry and Cheshire have been putting together a pdf of powers...
if you look for "Fan Made Sourcebooks" on here, you should find a fairly good list and discussion of things that should go into it.
Also, be sure to pick up Gry's pdfs on Aliens, Templates, Creatures, Droids, etc...
All very good stuff... _________________ "Love like you will die tomorrow. Hate like you will live forever." - Unknown |

The Force Powers PDF is almost finished, I hope to publish tha final (as of yet) PDF still this week. Wait for it.
And please, don't apologize for asking. If people didn't come here seeking answers to whatever doubt they might have, this forum would have little else but us bragging about how cool we all are...
PS: I can't take credit for the Templates book, that's the work of someone else in this forum. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Well I can tell you that this site has really helped steer me back to the game and I am really looking forward to our session on the 11th of November.
I can tell that there are some really good people here who take pride in their game of choice!
Kudos to all of you guys! _________________ Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.

Loc used to host a Force Powers list I had compiled (Word document format). It was intended as a quick reference listing the powers and which WEG books to look up further details (how the power was used, difficulties, etc.) Due to the whole discussion of copyright material a while back, he had removed it to be safe.
I will speak with him again about lists of this nature, because for it to be effective, you still had to have the WEG books. _________________ Team ORJ |

That would be great, I just orderd the Jedi Academy sourcebook hoping that there will be some new stuff in there.
I have the Tales of the Jedi sourcebook and will look when I get home at that book.
Thanks! _________________ Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.

Ronin, the new Force Powers PDF is available for download at the Tools section, in the "Fan-Made Sourcebooks" thread. Hope it's helpful. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Ok... I'm sure I've seen it somewhere, but I was working on a game, and wanted to have a Dark Jedi in the crowd near the PC's... and them be oblivious.
I'm sure that somewhere I saw a power that pretty much is a "force mask"... it dampens the user's (usually Sith) presence in the force, so as to be relatively undectable ....
Anyone care to help? or at least lend a hand working this one up? _________________ "Love like you will die tomorrow. Hate like you will live forever." - Unknown |

I'd say sense skill with a difficult DC, making it much harder to locate them using the force (like sense life, sense force), the DC would prabably be the character's sense attribute (or a roll, whatever). _________________ "Your lack of faith disturbs me." - Vader |

I was looking at doing such a power for the fan-made section, but then it wound up being unnecessary. In order to detect whether or not someone is strong in the Force, you have to use Sense Force Potential anyway. You can hide your Force sensitivity by making an opposed Control roll. So, those mechanics are already in the power. |
