The hum of the patrolling tank's repulsors looms ominously from around the bend. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Luey shoves his hands out, wrists together towards the middle of the group. In a Wookiee whisper he asks,
["Anybody have binders? Or make a quick collar out of the rope. I shouldn't be caught 'loose' again."] _________________ "WHERE ARE THE CHEETOS?"

Seeing Brav donning his helmet again, Cal quickly passes to him the frequency the Imperials have been using. "It'll help to have more than just me monitoring them," Cal says, "Plus it'll look more realistic if we're BOTH replying to anything sent to us over that freq, since we're both wearing the armor...
"Sorry, Luey," Cal said. "These suits didn't come with binders... but then, the guys we got them from weren't dolled up for riot control. I'll bet all the troopers out here have them, though...Speaking of, that tank's getting real close. Orders?" he says to Qassar, adrenaline pumping into his muscles as he prepares to act. |

Those listening over the comms hear the following:
<<The Commander said that small group of people disappeared around the back of the star port. He said it looked like they were being ushered by one of Faligahnt's squad. Might be a prisoner transfer or something, but we've not been notified. We're to sweep around back and check.>> _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Qassar quickly attaches the end of the synthrope to part of the port, and then tries to open the grating.
"Luey, Brav give me a hand opening this thing. And we'll be the first down it. Everyone else get down as soon as possible, the last one closing the port grate. Cyn, Kabakh, you two are last."
(ooc: CPs for forcing the grate. Gotta show off the Tarro strength ) _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

"Alright, everyone," Cal says briskly. "That tank's coming around here to investigate US. We were spotted coming back here, and the speaker thinks we might be performing a prisoner transfer or something. But since they weren't notified, they have to investigate. Now, I have this work order I faked up on my datapad, but I don't know how well it's gonna stand up to a good looking at. We need to either get moving or get ready, cuz they're coming. Orders?" he said to Qassar. "Including Force use," he adds, not ready to give away their position to Darth Vader unless Qassar thinks his Force use would be instrumental in their getaway. At the moment, they might still be able to pull this off....
"And by the way," he added hastily, "they're on comm freq 3923.11.5 for those of you with comlinks." |

Brav looks at the others. "I don't know about you guys but I'll take a dark scary looking hole over a tank any day."
With that Brav will grab anything close by he can use as a lever and help Qassar pry open the grate. If there are not any levers around he will just use brute strength.
Brav says to Lewie through clenched teeth as he strains to help lift the grate. "Hey, Lewie! A little help here?" _________________ All that evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing. |

Before the wookiee can move closer, Qassar grumbles a deep grunt and the grate is wrenched from its anchors.

Cal remains on guard, positioning himself so he appears to be watching both the group and the entrance to the area they're in. If everyone enters the chute before the tank arrives, he'll go ahead and drop in before Cyn and Kabakh.
If not...
"Captain," he says quickly and quietly, "if they get here before we're in, do you want me to try this work order I faked up? It might buy us a little time." |

"Roger."
Cal keeps his eyes on the corner and on the group heading down the shaft. When it's his turn, he moves quickly to the tube and hops in, sliding down to get away from the approaching Imperials.
On the way down, an idea occurs to him. Cursing inwardly, he moves over to Qassar and says, "We're gonna need to watch our backtrail. The Imps are gonna know we came down here..." |

As the crew slips over the edge and down the shaft, Cal notices the tank begin to creep around the corner. Finally, only he and Luey is left standing beside the shaft. Kabakh is just sliding down the cable.

(OOC- Cal's answer to this will be based off of communications he's been monitoring for however long they've been on the run. Without waiting for a response from Jamfke, I'm going to run this like Cal's heard at least one or two different designations bandied about since he's been monitoring the bands.)
(IC) Cal snaps to attention and says smartly, "TK-seven two niner, sir. I'm supervising this Wookiee on a work detail. We received a report about some CO2 scrubber malfunction and we're here to check it out." |
