I just came to the realization that tomorrow will be the Pit's 3 year and 4 month anniversary. We've also hit over 600 members!! I think it's time to give Loc Taal some healthy congradulations for bringing this to us.
In these forums lie countless scores of WEG SW information, whether official or fan made. And those numbers grow daily. Also, with the introduction of the PbPs, we can not only improve and talk about our beloved game, but play it as well. I would also like to note that the Pit is by far the best forums i've ever been too. There is not much arguing, no spammers, no forum trollers, and people here just tend to get along for the most part.
Thanks for the site, Loc. You rock, man. 8) _________________ Rebel Uprisings

Here, Here!!!
Ah yes, the 3 year and 4 month anniversary, it is a very important but often over-looked anniversary. It is very appropriate at this time of celebration and rememberance to give praise where it is due - to Loc and the other Admin for the incredible site and their efforts to keep it going, and to the Pit Crew (everyone else) for helping make the Rancor Pit the friendly information laden community that it is. Three cheers:

I do have to say that this is probably the most productive forum as far as producing fan-made D6 books. Granted most of them are compilations from WEG's stuff. Though we can't overlook the fact that there really aren't any other boards doing anything close.
Of course, we pretty much have to give credit to Gry Sarth for the majority of stuff going on in that department. |

Congratulations Fluffy!! And god bless us, everyone!
Thanks guys, you're too kind. I just wish real life would let me contribute more. As it is I have three projects lined up that can't seem to get finished. First there's "Galaxy Guide 16 - Revenge of the Sith" which moves ahead on small hops and large gaps, but we'll get there. Then there's "Starships Stats - Revised & Expanded" which besides some stats I'm still waiting from Grimace, took a huge blow from the "art & deckplan embargo"... And finally there's Cheshire's "Force Powers" book, which I'm helping to compile, which is the one most likely to get finished in the near-future.
All-in-all, SWD6 is going strong. I'd even be so bold as to say it's going stronger than SWd20..... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them."

I can't believe it I've been on this forum for 3 years. I'm the oldest poster besides Loc and Scrawprin (and the VERY rare one from Volar, who hasn't been seen in ages). _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

Agreed! Thanks to our wonderful administrators for setting this place up and keeping it running!
Thanks to our wonderful posters who, excluding the spambots, keep this place lively, and at the same time keep any arguing down to a bare minimum!
I haven't been here three years, but I've been here a while. This place has continued to be, bar none, the absolute best site I've ever seen for SW D6. And I'd have to agree with Gry; I'm sure SWD6 is WAY stronger than SWD20...
Game on, everyone! |

Here Here to one of the best sources on the net. I come here to find info for my other games in the D6 style and can honestly say I'd only play d20 *makes mister yuck face* yuck in person only if thats what the group was playing otherwise I don't touch the stuff.
SW d20 is like crack just say no.
Thanks to Loc and all the others who make it possible for us to continue to enjoy and play a fun exciting and fast paced game just like the movies if we do it right.
However this wouldn't be possible at all if it wasn't for the man the legend himself George Lucas. Thanks Mr Lucas for creating a great place to play an amazing game. |
