No need to apologise. There are a couple of people with the same avatar. You can't upload your own, but you can talk to Scrawprin and Loc Taal about getting one added to the list. _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

Guess I'll introduce myself too, even though I've been here pretty long already. My name is Bianca, I'm 24 and come from Germany. I play in a Star Wars campaign and I master another one with a different group of friends. I'm relatively new to Star Wars D6, compared to some others here, only having been introduced about 2 years ago, though I have been playing roleplaying games since I was about 10 or so...
The two campaigns are quite different in tone. One is pretty realistic and often quite grim (the one in which I'm a player) while the other is kinda lighthearted and fun. I enjoy both really, even though I'm by far the youngest in the campaign I master, the players being between 35 and 40. Which is really a funny feeling... for me at least... |

Well, we'll STILL welcome you, Akari!
By the way, I LOVE the name Bianca. Always have.
Good for you, running that game with such an age difference to boot! That just shows that you can really hack it as a GM, to be able to spin a good game that interests people that much older than you. Keep up the good work! |

I was just in the area of Stuttgart, Germany last February because of work. I loved it there. Though it was really jarring watching Little House on the Prairie dubbed in German on TV. _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots

Hey hey! Aaron here... 33, married, 2 kids. Been playing RPGs since 1981. Got hooked on Star Wars d6 in college (played a Verpine Engineer/Slicer. Mmmm, +2D to all Tech skills)
Been playing various games off and on since then. Trying to find a steady gaming group while bouncing around in the military kinda stinks. (If anyone is near the Grand Forks, ND area, drop me a line!)
The Rancor Pit is one of the (if not, THE) best SWd6 gaming site out there.
You guys rock! _________________ Han - "How're we doin'?"

Welcome Rerun941!
If you want to explore real time online RPGing for groups spread out around the world there is some good advice and ideas in the "Spanning the Globe" in the Gamemasters section of the forum. But good luck with finding stuff in ND, I am temporarily in England and kind of out of luck myself. _________________ "What a wonderful smell you've discovered" |

Roger-roger that.
Anyway, welcome aboard! Glad to have you along! Your welcome package should arrive via mail in several weeks/months/years. It includes a handy site map, a signed and numbered limited edition photo of Fluffy, and a coupon, accepted by no area merchants, good for one free box of Rancor Treats. Enjoy! 8) _________________ Aha! |

**ADDENDUM: Due to your military status, the following changes have been made to your welcome package.
1. The picture of Fluffy will not be included due to religious extremists in the area objecting to visual images of rancors.
2. The site map will be edited for content, and some links may be unavailable at the time you sign on.
3. Unfortunately, the makers of Rancor Treats have had to issue a galaxy-wide recall on their product due to a series of acts of sabotage perpetrated on production lines by deranged Jawas. Your coupon will instead be good for one free package of Wookiee Pellets.
Enjoy your stay!

Howdy-
Age 32, been playing RPGs as long as I can remember as my dad owned/worked for several gaming companies while growing up. Pretty much only play WEG SW now and recently taught it to my son and his friends. (He found the d20 and I showed him the light).....so now I wait for my picture of Fluffy? |

That's about the size of it... although the actual image may be substituted by the image of Lieutenant Kettch. |

The latest shipment got mistakenly hijacked by a band of pirates who thought they were getting a load of glitterstim.
At least their hunger was slaked for a while.
At least with the Wookiee Pellets, when you bite into one, you get the icy cold sensation of being shucked out the airlock in nothing but your boxers. |

I have been coming to this site for a while and just started posting a while ago. I am 32 and have been playing RPG for 21 years now. It started with D&D, not advanced mind you, the box set. Then advanced to others to include a short stint with Star Wars. I enjoyed it but could never find a group to join here in Ohio. I am currently gathering a group that we normally play W. o. D. stuff and getting them to try Star Wars. Here goes nothing. _________________ Impressive, Most Impressive. |
