That is the main problem Jedi-in-training have.
Luke: "I...I don't believe it!"
Yoda: "That is why you fail."
They simply can't wrap their minds around the fact that the Force makes it possible, simply put, to be superhuman, giving the Jedi the ability to perform feats no regular being could hope to accomplish. It's why Yoda told Luke he needed to unlearn that which he had learned. |

Yup. I think that's also why the texts hint at how horrific an insane Jedi can be.
I'm not speaking of the average Force-using crazy who would probably just try to take over the galaxy or something mundane like that. I'm thinking of true, reality-need-not-apply, insanity, like one finds in the Joker character of Batman fame. Then things get interesting! _________________ Aha! |

But I still say you use perception to resist telikinesis because you are feeling your way out of it.
You cannot overpower the force, but you can slip away from a force users limited grasp on the force.
Ya know, like a mime. Getting out of the box. He could be one of those well built mimes that can hold poses with weights on him, but if he can't find the exit to the imagined box he is stuck in it forever. He has to feel around for the boxes weak point.
So Mimes would be the perfect anti-jedi! ...uhm, wait was that my point? _________________ My backpack has jets!

Doubtfully.
I don't think the Order 66 scene would have been as cool if, instead of the 501st Clone Troopers, Anakin was leading a Platoon of Elite Mimes to wipe out the Jedi Temple... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

What? That isn't cool?
Silent but deadly, their weapons unseen, they say no words...
Either way, it's still an army of troops that all look alike. _________________ My backpack has jets!

...Plus, it's a complete army of troops absolutely UNABLE to question their orders, or talk back... |

It's a sad fact, but mimes are often targets of violent crime. They won't call for help and only pretend to fight back. _________________ Aha! |

Excellent idea, Gry! Our games need more mimes! Think of it as an exercise in creative GMing. 8) _________________ Aha! |
