Ok. The storm troopers and army troopers in the books are for regular green troops out of the academy. What would you rank their stats at for
Experienced
Veteran
something else (cannot remember the name)
Elite (which i view as the highest tier of them).. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Seems like there was something on this in one of the later books... R&E, perhaps? Or maybe Rules of Engagement? Can't remember. Something about making stormtroopers more lethal to better deal with advanced characters. *quietly curses pesky job for separation from WEG books*
Let's see, I usually kind of ballpark the numbers, but one thing I do for Veteran Stormtroopers and above is remove the Dex penalty from the armor. If they've lived that long wearing the stuff, they're quite accustomed to death-defying combat maneuvers in it.
For Elites, I tend to toss in some Royal Guards who are out on maneuvers. Never know when those guys will pop up and turn a random Stormtrooper squad into a Death-Dealing Engine of Destruction. _________________ Aha! |

I agree with Pel in this regard. The stats can vary, and what I usually do is design them in the form of squads design to meet varying mission parameters, modeled after Marine Corps squads.
Than the degree of difficulty depends on a cross between their history and current situation. _________________ My backpack has jets!

Boomer, do you mean the entire squad has a given specialization (heavy weapons, recon, etc.) or that individual members possess certain skills within a general squad?
Say you want some anti-armor capability. What would a sample squad look like? _________________ Aha! |

To me an anti armor squad, would have 4 troopers possessing 2-3 DEMP grenades each, so they could bracket any armor wearers... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Actually, I intended contemporary anti-armor. I probably should have specified anti-vehicle. Sorry for the mix up. _________________ Aha! |
