Are there rule for how people perform things in this? For example is there a skill under DEX called dance and that lets you dance, specializations like break or tango? If not I'm making some new skills! _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

I don't think so, atleast I haven't come across any.
I would be a good idea though, post em up hear, make them for... culinary arts, and... music too. _________________ "At the end of the game the king and the pawn go back in the same box" |

Yes, dance is a dex skill, and I would call a specialization some culture's dance, or something... I don't know anything about dance specializations, but i'm sure that dance is a dex skill that exists _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. If you look in the Star Wars Revised & Expanded book on pg. 66 in the section Other Skills, it describes how new skills can be made. They use the example of the nega-ball skill. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Yeah a Trianii could really kick butt in the circus, but I think anyone could learn the acrobatics skill. If that is not the case, then it may be the first house rule I've done involving skill selection. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

In the "Far Orbit" campain my group was in, we had a Barabel that was in a big fighting match.
Won too!
*LOTS* of very rich, very happy Crewmen on the Far Orbit, Near Orbit, LEO, and the Lager that day, let me tell you!!! Good thing we left soon, 'cause the LOWEST bet placed on him was... Ummm... ~2,500 Credits... On a single fight, and we all folded our winnings into the *NEXT* fight...
Crunch still has the Foam #1 Hand that he bought at the fight, advocating the "Sun Lizard" (The Barabel wore a set of gilded Smasher Armor in the field). |

Yeah, our wookiee entered a tournament, and went into a rage almost every match! There were only two people who entered the match left alive, him and a barbel in the finals. He couldn't wrestle though, when in his little rage thing he couldn't help but punch. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

Culinary Arts is a Knowledge skill; Chef Droids have them, and use them for cooking fine foods
and Music is Musical Instrument Operation or Music Operation (I can't remember exactly which) a mechanical skill; Bith Musicians from Heros and Rogues have it _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. My Duro Scout, Xar, has "AutoChef Operations", a Mechanical Skill. He uses it to program the AutoChef... Has it turn out a very fine Durosian Mint Julip, too. (Think of a Blue Col. Sanders and you pretty much got Xar.).
At least... He did... Some frigin' Alien broke into the ship and started a fistfight with Klug, our "Gellatinid" (Jello Creature, we picked him up and are training him to be a tech for the ship). After a few rounds of "Gel-Fu" (Which Klug has BUCU dice in!), the Kitchen was pretty much wrecked, and the creature's head was put through the AutoChef... Three times, IIRC. |

Kinda hard to do so... Klug is still learning, and we have him working more towards Hyperdrives, Ion Engines, Stealth System (We have a Skyblind), and other systems.
That, and we were close enough to the Space Station we call "Home" to get it replaced. But I still have to reprogram everything...
This time, I keep back-ups up to date |

lol... If he's your ship's tech, then he should be able to fix anything... _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire. "
