So, it's sort of a "I have a bad feeling about this" skill. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

So do you run it like the book does suprise? Where the one hidden rolls his sneak, while the one getting surprised rolls his perception.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

No, I don't do it that way. I have suprise as its own skill so it can be raised like normal skills. Plus, surprise goes beyond just hidden people. Say you are in a bar chatting with a dude and you decide that you want to suprise him with a mug to the face... roll suprise!
It's worked great for years... and makes for some fun moments. _________________ Beaumont Sebos

The enemy also rolls surprise (or perception, since surprise falls under the perception skill). _________________ Beaumont Sebos

here is something I use for snipers. It is a special skill and works in die codes, NO PIPS. this skill is then a pool to draw from and can only be used on hide rolls, to hit rolls, and damage rolls. Really makes it interesting. the disadvantage can not be used in conjunction with a lot of computer assisted devices. Scopes only. Also after first shot the extra die pool is lost. |

Getting back to this.. Is suprise a regular skill, or an advanced one? If regular, then what good are the hide and sneak skills/. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
