I think it was a typo. The lesser developed planets will pay more credits/goods/ect. for the higher tech stuff that is more common place in higher tech planets. I say reverse them. But as much as Tramp Freighters is the absolute best, most complete GG out there...remember that it does suffer from the "keep your players broke" perspective. Which I don't go for. I keep my players wealthy. Being broke doesn't keep them working...making money keeps them working. But remember to charge the mundane things like restocking the ship and docking fees...repairs and everything else that space travel involves. Eventually, they'll become smugglers and arms dealers. One plot device I also use is the Corellian Merchants Guild. The guild offices in every spaceport in our game has "official" cargo contracts and the Tramp, if a member, simply has to walk in and see what they have going and where. Makes things a lot easier. _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

I'm planning to get into all kinds of things regarding shipping goods (one of my friends is an owner operator, and he's given me all sorts of ideas above and beyond what's in the GG6). There's docking fees, restock, maintenance, permits, lumper fees (for unloading goods), and more.
I just like to give my players a chance to earn money, especially to try to pay off his loan shark. I at least want to give him a chance to make payments, and those alone will keep him pretty broke.
The key is to work it in to my greater plot...which will actually be easy given the nature of my current galaxy. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Here's the chart I told you about:

And Leia is your sister!
That's improbable?
And the Empire will be destroyed by..EWOKS!
That's...highly unlikely.
The Force? Bacteria called midichlorians.
If you don’t take this seriously I'm out. |

Given what's been going on it the PDF forum...I am sure they hate us. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Hey, we make their numbers look good and give them a reason to hold true to the belief that they are making so many lives better......if they only knew the truth. _________________ Luke, I am your father.

About the 'Demand' line for High Tech supplies, there was a typo : the correct table appears in GG6 1st edition (see Rancor Files) |

Well what I have done to fix the price in GG6 is to increase the sell price by 0.1 to 0.6 for every sector it has had to cross to get to its destination. I call it a premium pricing. An item from Coruscant going to the Outer Rim would cost more than the same item from the same system in the Outer Rim. You can say it is because of the place its made at or the manufacturer. |

In cases like this, you'd pick another planet with the same base price (usually one that has the item as one of its Major Imports). You won't break even because ultimately it's your Bargain skill roll that determines how much of a profit or loss you make at each end. |
