Greetings All
Just thought I'd drop by to take the time to introduce myself. Im almost completly new to RPGs. I used to play about three years ago but never realy grasped the concept of the game. Had to stop playing when we moved over seas to Nepal but thanks to all the great information and pdf files from this site I have been able to start up my own group about a week ago and everything has been going great so far. Thanks for all your help. Its realy good to be back in the game. |

Welcome back! You DEFINITELY have just about all the resources you'll ever need right here on this site.
Plus, this site (as well as several others) offer the opportunity to roleplay in a Play By Post setting, so you can keep up your roleplaying fix if you need to. |

Ahhhh... Star Wars D6. The first Roleplaying game I ever tried. It got me hooked. I was with D6 for a while then went off to other things but like you can not forget your first love, you can not forget your first RPG experience. I'm happy to be back and to have found a community to inhabit. Thank you to all that make this possible.

And you've picked a great community to be a part of. The people here are ALL great resources of information and help. Any questions you have, they will answer. Any PDF files you need (from WEG, anyway...) they will upload.
And even with those of us whose people skills are improving (nods to Boomer ), I've NEVER seen anyone get flamed here, period.
You've picked the right spot! |

I've posted a few times, so I might as well introduce myself.
I'm Chris. I started RPing back around '87-'88, using D&D, then upgrading to AD&D. Around '92 a friend and I saw star wars RPG in the store and bought it. Best decision we ever made. Around '96 I started RPing SWRPG on IRC and that lasted until 98-99. We've had a long hiatus and I've been in contact with one player; we're trying to get a game back up.
I had a SWRPG site, Jedi Sanctuary. It was down for awhile, but now I'm resurrecting it, slowly. It will be at starwars.tumbyweb.com
I love Star Wars RPG (D6 only.....D20 is blasphemous) and came upon The Rancor Pit googling for d6 games. Great site and great forum to interact with other RPGers! |

Hi out there,
Just wanted to thank you all for keeping d6 Star Wars quite alive. Though I had played D&D before, good old Star Wars was the first RPG I bought. It is also the one I played the most, so I'm glad that thanks to this site new gamers can get to know this (regretably) discontinued RPG line.
At school, I had lots of time to game (sadly this is not now the case), and I remember having GMed a wide array of campaigns, from regular Rebel stuff to a campaign where players were Imperials crushing that pitiful Rebellion and one in the Tales of the Jedi timeline where two players ended up joining the Sith (perhaps if I ever get to resume that campaign I can do it with them as master and apprentice, hmmm). But I disgress...
Anyway, thanks a lot, people, the force is strong with this site 8) |
