I've almost finished my reading of the book and I might post the listing of errors/typing mistakes this week-end Wink

Well, that's how I break this book down, anyway. But I wouldn't like to divide into different books. I just want to make THE ultimate starships book.

Well, I did a first pass on the "elimination process" and weeded out a nice round 100 ships! I think that's going to allow the book to breathe a little more......

Sounds like it's also going to fill up the companion book quite nicely as well! I can't wait for the finished products, although I'll just have to. Crying or Very sad

I just finished reading the book and even if I think I missed some typing mistakes, here are the results :

- don't forget to add a blank page after the title page Wink

(it's easier for printing the book)

- p4 you set up some icons corresponding to SW eras : you could use them ou you could delete the icons Wink

- p 67 the stats of the YG 4210 corresponds to the the Aeon Ranger (http://www.verminary.com/rebellion/issue_02.html) , a modified ship : you could move that ship to the section of Private Ships

- p 104 same thing for YV 330 : the stats are for the Emerald Lance (and I found an image of the ship : http://www.highadmiral.de/d20-lsa/stats/yv-330.htm )

- p 165 "Tenchant " is typed instead of "Trenchant"

- p 226 typing error on the era

Wow, is that all? Man, I'm good. I was expecting a pretty big list. Thanks a lot Krapou.

I had already picked on the "Tenchant" mistake. I'll see to those modfied ships. Right now I'm a little confused with all the material I have, I feel I'm juggling too many balls. I have to get organized or else I'll start making mistakes. Oh, and I'm taking this slowly guys, no rush at all.... so have patience. I just don't want to be making this book yet again....

Hey Krapou, what did you mean about the Era icons on page 4? Are you suggesting I remove them? You don't like them?

BTW, what do you guys think about changing the term "Alignment / Owner" to "Affiliation" in the stats? It's just something that Hellcat used in his stats that I was wondering about.. So, which do you prefer?

Well, the icons themselves don't appear in the entries, but every stat has a line called "Era" which relates to these icons. Putting the actual icon in every stat entry would be very cumbersome, so I just put them once in the 4th page to add a little flair.

Thanks all, again.

I have a bit of a problem with two shuttles: The Grek Troop Shuttle and the Katarn Boarding Shuttle. It seems there's a bit of a mixup with their pictures. Both are presented in Pirates & Privateers, pages 87-88, and the Katarn is also in the SpecForce Handbook, page 48. Looking at the books it's pretty clear which image corresponds to each ship, specially since only the Katarn is in SpecForces.

Now, the folks at SWAG did the deckplans for the Katarn, and as it turns out, it's actually the image attributed to the Grek. The thing is that this makes a lot more sense, since the Katarn is supposed to have an airlock in the nose and be heavily armed. This fits much better with the image previously assigned to the Grek. Do you think WEG did a mix-up and the images really should be swapped? Or is it just one of those cases of poor image-stats relationship?
