I've been trying to find where to put the font files after i've unzipped them, but i haven't found where they go... does anyone know?

Go into Fonts in the Control Panel. Click on File - "Install New Font".

Yes. Open the windows folder. Open the font folder. Cut and paste your new fonts among all the others that are already there. All too easy.
