Chello!
Well, as promised in another thread, I finally got around to statting out the Revenge-class heavy carrier, as seen in the sequel to TROOPS, IMPS: The Relentless. The film can be seen at http://www.impstherelentless.com
I tried not to make it a munchkin ship and think that it looks ok.
Two things: yes, it's Hyperdrive multiplier is x1. It has 6 engines! In the film, the center two appear to be the size of the SSDs, and the other 4 the size of stand SD engines. I decided that it is an overpowered ship...plus, it needs to keep up with its Imp IIs.
I did give it Maneuverability....I might take it out...it is half the size of an SSD, but appears to handle like a standard SD.
I gave it a bit of a history...just a bit. I decded that there were only 3 with 2 more in production at the time of the Battle of Endor.
The file is here: http://www.geocities.com/lord_kjeran/Revenge.pdf
Thoughts?

An interesting looking ship, I'll need to check the sources, it seems a bit heavy on the weapons for a carrier. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Chello!
True I agonized over that is well. It is half the size of an SSD which has 1000 emplacements. An Imp II has 130 IIRC. The Revenge has 220.
So, it has 60 more turbolasers than a Imp II, but only 1/5 of an SSD. I thought about just leaving it with the same amount as an Imp SD. Any comments?

"What do you think, Bomba, can we take it?" "Ohhhhhhhhh, I'm going to need some more of my family if we try. One or two should do it." "Humph. Ewoks, always so overconfident." |

Chello!
Oh no! We're being invaded by Ewoks!!!!
Interesting sidenote.....in the Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds game, if you type in the cheat "simonsays" you get Simon the Killer Ewok as a unit. yub, yub, indeed.

Bomba was one of my GMs Uber-NPC.
We've taken bases out with him. Sneak him in (Usually in a Utility Cart for a Janitor), let him play in the Air Ducts for a bit, let him come back (Usually with a Securi-Droids head as a trophy), and then sneak out.
Ten minutes later... Boom. |

Not really. He had the warhead to a Proton Torpedo that he somehow got rigged up into a "Hand Grenade". A really big one.
And he was insistant that it would only kill whatever he threw it at.
Noone knew if the thing would even work, but noone wanted to take the risk.
In esscence, he was his own Superpower on the battlefield. |

Actually, remembering a few other tales of him.
He's also got the most number of stolen items from people, even going so far as to get something that Crunch had CROTCHED.
That in and of itself was worth an impressive feat! 'Course, when asked why, "Well, it was very very shiney. And I'll do a lot for something that shiney!"
He also got away with a half-dozen thermal detonators from Oota the Rodian Blaster Nut once. Very impressive and dangerous!
And was even trained to work a Quad-Laser battery on a YT-1300! 'Course, he needed a phone book to reach the controls... |
