Aren't those stats for the Ebon Hawk a little too good? This is 4,000 years before TBY right? This ship looks like it could have come right out of the classic era. In the Tales of the Jedi sourcebook most hyperdrives have a multiplier of around x10. Also, weapons had much shorter ranges than in the classic era. |

I agree with you MA-3PO a 10x hyperdrive is a good hyperdrive for the Kotor time a 2x will be harder to find than a 0.5x in the Empire time _________________ There's no such a thing as the Force's own will. You have a point there, I'll downgrade the weapon's range a bit. But about the hyperdrive, I was going by some of the things the Official Site says:
"...and a ridiculously overpowered drive system.."
"...to the uncommonly powerful hyperdrive..."
The Vanya Jedi Courier Ship has a x2 hyperdrive, so I don't know. Maybe I'll downgrade the Ebon Hawk's to a x3, or do you think x4 would be better? _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I find this hyperdrive strangely out of place considering the next fastest is a x8. Could this be a typo I wonder? If I were running an Old Republic campaign I would probably slow this ship down a bit.
I think your stats for the Sith fighter look about right with a speed of 7. I might bump it down to 6 to make it no faster than the later Z-95. Now in the game I notice that the Sith fighters literally fly circles around the Hawk. I might make the Hawk a bit slower than the Sith fighters...perhaps a speed of 4 or 5. |

I think a 4x hyperdrive would be better suited to the Old Republic tec level, since it should be at least near the Tales of the Jedi Companion technology.

I think a speed of 5 will be better suited to speed difference I saw in game. _________________ There's no such a thing as the Force's own will. You are it's will. Use it, to impose your will upon reality. Master it, and you shall master the universe. May the Force serve you well. |

Modifications applied guys, thanks. Now it seems the Ebon Hawk and the Leviathan have the exact same speed, both in real and hyperspace. Do you think that checks? How did that cutscene of one chasing the other played out? Should one be faster than the other?
The Sith Fighter is as fast the Headhunter (though quite a bit slower in an atmosphere), but then again it's about the puniest ship I've ever seen, so maybe we can grant it it's amazing speed for the time in exchange for an extremely light and delicate frame. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I agree with what you said about the sith fighter. About the Hawk and the Leviathan donīt forget the Leviathan's tractor beams that dragged teh Hawk to itīs landing bay. _________________ There's no such a thing as the Force's own will. I had an idea, why don't make the diference between the Hawk and a sith fighter equal to the Millenium Falcon against a TIE fighter? Same proportions I mean. _________________ There's no such a thing as the Force's own will. You are it's will. Use it, to impose your will upon reality. Master it, and you shall master the universe. So uh... will this only be for KotOR, or will it include KotOR 2 also? If it will also include KotOR 2, can someone explain the damn story to me? I heard that the PC version was "fixed" by patches to be complete, but that might have been rumor... anyone know for sure? _________________ Jen'tara Rhee, Twi'lek Dark Jedi/Ace Pilot

I don't think there was any difference between the different versions. I played PC and I'm pretty sure it wasn't "fixed".
Revan, if you're talking about speed, as it so happens the difference IS the same. TIE Fighters have Space 10 and the Millenium Falcon has 8, so that's a difference of 2, the same we have here. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |
