Ah good ol' Piggy. Scary fellow. Genetically adjusted, drug therapy, ect.
There is also an Ewok who has the same abilities, and uses prosthetic extentions to his arms and legs, so that he can pilot Starfighters and Freighters.
He also bites.
And, no, his name is *NOT* Commander Kettich. |

I remeber the ewok I wonder what became of him?
I thought Piggy wasn't genetically adjusted as he was talking to another squadren member and he says that his 'adjustments' are not genetic and so therefore won't be passed to any offspring he has... He also is unlike any other Gamorian so he may never get the chance to have offspring anyway... yep thats a character destined to be single forever |

Well, Ragnar's leg and hand are simple replacments. As for the claws, I thought, "if Wolverine could have them in a human hand, why couldn't I do it to a mechanical one?" So I did. As for his genetically enhanced skeletal structure, well, why not? For those that play d20, think of it as a +1 natural amor bonus.
As for a system, Esoomian, you should know that I am bound to no system. Only my imagination.
Now, Ragnar didn't get these for free. He paid a high price and I'm not talking about credits. We're talking about first born child, arms and legs and the human soul to name a few in the catagory of high prices I'm talking about. Anyone up for surgery? _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

I like flexibility in a game system 8)
Especially when it allows you to upgrade yourself in new and interesting ways |

Hmmm...
Sounds like it's only a short stem before he puts peoples brains in those Bo'marr monk droids until they can "Settle the account for their new and improved bodies which remain in cold storage until the account has been settled or until the death of the previous owner... in which case he has a new experimental subject/ surpuss of salable bodyparts" |

Not quite. How much is the human soul worth?
He can do any of the previously posted cyber upgrades and then some. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

And how does one sell the soul in SW? And if you do sell it how does he collect?
He doesn't happen to have any connections to the Ssi-ruuk does he |

Hell, he might have made them. Laugh. Not really, but he has access to the entechment technology. He also can work on any race. Not that their was any complications with different species. Are their? _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

None was mentioned in the book Truce at Bacura however it was said that humans are the best creatures to entech as they last the longest. All other races encountered just don't have the staying power.
However it could be imagined (given the complexity of the entechment procedure) that other races such as the Yaka (cybernetic brain), the thakwash (multiple personalities) and the hojibs (to small and energy eaters) would cause quite some problems for such a procedure. |

Um, I was refering to cybernetics in general, not entechment.
I haven't seen any rules about cybernetics and negative effects on certain species. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Well the races I mentioned: The Yaka (cybernetic brain), the thakwash (multiple personalities) and the hojibs (too small and energy eaters) would probably have problems with cybernetics too |

Going off the experience i have had with using these upgrades/cybernetics, let me give an example to run with.... lets take the Neuro-savv cardio muscle package.
I currently have 3d strength, 5d+1 brawl - (S) wrestling 8d+2, 4d+2 stamina and 4d+2 swimming. I wish to take my strength to 4d (which will add 1d to each of the skills too). I do not have lifting or climb/jump, so no need to worry there...
As per the cybernetic, it takes 800 Credits per pip for an increase.
So that gives me...
STR 3d (9 pips) going to 4d (12 pips). 800 X 12 pips = 9600 credits
Brawl (base skill) 5d+1 (16 pips) going to 6d+1 (19 pips). 800 x 19 = 15200 credits
Brawl Specialty 8d+2 (26 pips) going to 9d+2 (29 pips) 800 x 29 = 23200 credits
Stamina 4d+2 (14 pips) going to 5d+2 (17 pips) 800 x 17 = 13400 credits
Swimming has the same increase, so has the same cost..
TOTAL credit cost for this is:
9600+
15200+
23200+
13400+
13400
= 74800 credits..... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I do believe it's 800 credits per pip of increase.
*looks over The Book*
Yup, you don't count your pips of your initial skills or attribute, the formula is:
Base Cost x Pip Increase x Starting Die Code (ignoring Pips)
So, taking Strength of 3D to 4D would be: 7200 + skills (800x3x3).
Skills are figured the same way. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |
