Not sure where to put this... Does anyone know if Nerfs are edible? Are they basically the equivalent to a cow? |

They are most certainly edible. And yes, quite comparable to a cow. I've personally read specific mention of nerf medallions in some kind of sauce, as well as nerf steaks.
It's the other red meat.

Nerfs appear to be a cross between a sheep and a goat. With a bit of Camel thrown in for measure.
They're edible, they can be sheared for wool, and their hides can be tanned for leather.
Very versatile.
However, they stink to high heaven, are mean spirited, and spit. |

Ok, so it's the other other red meat.
But that's why "nerf herder" is used as an insult. Because the herder stinks as bad as the herd. |

They also tend to have the attitude of the herd. Stubborn and surly.
That's the Stereotype, at least. |

ALWAYS go with Gry's books; the originals are put out by people looking to make money. GRY'S books, on the other hand, are lovingly crafted works of art created by someone for the love of the game and for his fellow fans. You KNOW it's gotta be great!
Again, thanks for all the hard work, Gry! |

So that's what a nerf looks like...
I love Gry's books as they are an invaluable asset, I just wish they included the background and descriptive of the aliens/creatures/etc... Especially for those that are not included in other D6 material. If I didn't have so many comp problems, and if my PDF editor were working I'd ask Gry if he minded adding such info into his works.
That was the only thing I liked about the D20 Ultimate Alien Anthology, not just the backgrounds and personalities, but suggested names (and believe me, after playing in a game with a Rodian named Shank, it becomes clear, some players need ideas for names for a species). _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |
