I want a weapon that allows me to disable all the equipment a person has and all their droids without causing lasting damage to either...
It makes looting so much more profitable 8)
If you kill a man you can only steal from him once but if you just knock him out you can steal from him every week for the rest of his life (adjusted quote)

Hey that’s what I’m here for… to give you idea to make life miserable for your players.
Or everyone else on the board… it depends on whom you ask. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

Most everything else has been covered. But i will address the 'does it affect people' part. In Dark Force Rising, Mara jade got whakked in her escape pod by a capital scale ion cannon, and spent MONTHS recovering from the neurological damage sustained. So i would say there is DEFINATLY an affect, just not sure what level of damage it would take to cause it. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Hey Voo (Esoomian) just ask the GM next time. He'll be able to tell you that the droid gun is in Cracken's Rebel Field Guide. _________________ oops - i didnt mean to make it go off |

Mara Jade spent a month recovering from the effect of all her ship's life support systems failing. Loss of oxygen to the brain tends to do a lot of damage. _________________ oops - i didnt mean to make it go off |

That's why I equip all my Starfighters with Beer Bottles, Dar.
Just pull the same trick the MacKenzie Brothers did in their movie, "Strange Brew"! |

No. I'm Canadian.
When they need something that has "Canadian Content" in it (All Networks in Canada are required, by law, to have a certain amount of Canadian Content), they'll put on The Beachcombers or "Strange Brew" when it's movie time.
I am, however, planning on getting the DVD. |

That's not a Canadian Network. So it's exempt from that law.
And I don't get that. |

Before 'Adult Swim,' the cartoon network in our area had a bunch of odd cartoons they would show late at night. One of these shows was called "O Canada." Basically, it was a compiliation of a bunch of low budget cartoons from Canada in the 70's. They were really weird. |
