What stuff would you all most like to see as far as new books? I have plenty of free time these days to do research and get things going for new books. Though, I have no idea how to make these things. If anyone is willing to help when it comes time to publish, I am more than happy to do some work on this kind of stuff.
Here is a list of things I'll need:
1. Someone to explain to me how to do the layout. Like which fonts to use, how to make the covers, etc...
2. Someone willing to do artwork.
3. Someone to help edit, bouce ideas off of, and help qualify the stats used.
Other than that, I am game. There are too many fan books that never see the light of day.
Also, if anyone has any other tips that they'd like to share (like don't copy and paste from Star Wars Wiki, don't use other fanmade stats without permission, etc...), please let me know. _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

Well, fan sourcebooks in the make around here, that i know of, are the Mandalorian Sourcebook and the Knights of the Old Republic Sourcebook. As for what other books it would be nice to have, I'd suggest a Clone Wars Sourcebook, or maybe a Jedi Order Sourcebook... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I know that there is someone working on a jedi order sourcebook - it's real high quality. Personally I'd like to see someone re-make a GG:13 Gamblers and Scoundrels. It would be nice to have the book that seems to have vanished be replaced with another, even if the content and material was different. _________________ Luke, I am your father.
That's impossible!
And Leia is your sister!
That's improbable?
And the Empire will be destroyed by..EWOKS!
That's...highly unlikely.
The Force? Bacteria called midichlorians.
If you don’t take this seriously I'm out. |

How about one with a full list of force skills and their descriptions? Having to flip through a dozen books gets slightly annoying. _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

Well, that already exists, Orgaloth. A Force Powers doc has been floating around for a long time now.... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I've been thinking along those lines myself, sort of a compilation of Force powers, lightsaber techniques, Jedi orders, etc.
Would anybody be interested in a planets/astrogation spreadsheet? I'm thinking of working on one. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

An astrogation spreadsheet would be very welcome indeed. However, you'll probably go mad if you actually try and make a complete and accurate one.
Yes, I agree that a complete "The Force Sourcebook" could be made, having not only ALL force powers, but fighting techniques, Jedi Order history, jedi training, other Force schools like Dathomir Witches and whatnot, special equipments and all sorts of Force ramblings. Could combine a bit of Dark Side sb in it. With the Sith and force corruption.... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I agree with this. While there IS that doc of Force powers here, not all of them have links to descriptions. For noobs it would really help to have a complete description list.
This Force Sourcebook could be really huge, especially if it incorporates all the things Gry listed above. It could actually be a complete compendium, if someone were so inclined, of ALL eras of Force users- from KOTOR era right through NJO. Perhaps the book could have a central complete list of powers with descriptions, modifiers, etc. in addition to sections dedicated to each era of Force user. These sections could list, if it differs from the main one, all the Force powers in use at that time. Off the top of my head, I don't know how different they all are, but it would be handy to have such a list. This book could truly be a COMPLETE list, but it would be HUGE. It would also be very welcome, I'm sure- especially to those of us with a special affinity towards the Jedi and the Force. |

I've got a document with all of the WEG force powers. yousendit.com seems to be down right now, but I'll have those up soon. |
