Not sure if this should go here.... delete or move is necessary.
So, for years - the "log me in automatically" had been working just fine.
Sometime in the last few weeks/months it stopped.
It seems as if most days, I have to log in when visiting the site.
Same browser as before etc. (chrome).
Was there a change somewhere on the pit and a new setting I needed to take?
Still running windows 10, some other change possible on my end.
REPEAT: Yes, the "Log me in automatically" I check it when I log in.
Not a huge deal - but when I do log in manually - there are no "posts since my last visit".
thanks for any ideas to this very minor annoyance.

Chrome, on windows 10.
But I did not intentionally change anything.... heh.
I may try edge for a few days to isolate variables.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this minor annoyance. I personally haven't experienced any changes to Pit functionally in Chrome for Android or Mac, but I do not use the "Log me in automatically" feature.
My only guess about what may have caused the change for you is that the SSL certificate was recently updated (with no lapse in active certificate coverage). If your Chrome settings for automatic logins are still enabled, then maybe there is some way you can tell your browser The Rancor Pit is still safe. Sorry if this isn't helpful.
