if we go into Canon we see that the empire did indeed fracture following the battle of Endor and the death of both Palaptine and Vader.

We know that Gallius Rax took commad of a large faction of the empire and made a stad at Jakku, before his faction fled and became the first order.

this happend in 5-6 ABY. or about a year after Endor

Now if we look at both the mandalorian and book of boba fett we see that there are some fairly large factions still out there, the emire still has not completely loosend the grip they had.

We know from the game uprising that the Moff of the Anoat sector closed it down and waged a misonramtion campaign claiming Palpatine still being alive and in charge.

My question is how many factions were there, how many remained after the Battle of Jakku, did anyone of them fight against eachother wich to me would make some sense as not all the moffs (anf other leaderss) did not always get along, and both EU and to a degree Canon is full of internal rivalry even at a level where people kill their rivals.

Cara Dune, a republic Shocktrooper said she had been fighting for years against such factions.

How many are there, they all did not follow operation cinder, and how to use thse in the game?
