When the republic fell and the empire turned on Kamino, it would make sense that the Kaminoand has some possible hints and thoughts on what would happen, however they would not know if a conflict would be weeks or years.
So it would make sense to have normal aging clones, for a conflict that will prevent the "fast growth assembly line" of the normal clones.
Alternativee is the last batch(es) would be aging normally to be able to sustain a prologed war.
This was promted by the supposed (I belive it is canon) of the clone alive in the sequal triligy (wearing a red armor and being with some pirates or something)
If this clone was alive and "walking" as late as 34+ after endor, then he has to be in his 100s, with the rapid aging, however if something like above, he is a normal aging clone then that makes sense.
We know that there can be clones that is nomarlly aged, as this was a feature that the kaminoans added to the clones, Boba Fett is a normal aging clone.
could a normal aging clone be a thing and exist both in and outside the empire? |

In both canons, the primary purpose of the Kaminoan-made clone army was the decimate the Jedi Order. I don't see there being a lot of vagueness in Palpatine's designs for how long the war would go on. The war would only go on long enough until all the set pieces were in place to kill the Jedi and turn the Republic into the Empire.
Normally aging clones do exist, like Boba Fett who you mentioned. Were a lot more made, to serve the Empire (some of whom could have gone awol)? If you see a need for that in your SWU, there could be.
But there is a middle option available. I've questioned whether the typical accelerated aging of clones was sustained for their entire life, or if it was really just to age them to maturity and then they aged normally from that point. That would mean most adult clones are physically about 10 years older than their actual age. That might make more sense for Rex and the other clones that survived to the classic era. _________________ *

Very good point, accelerated agin upto aduthood (20s maybe) this will account for some of the outlayers out there like the clone that survived upto the prequals with enough "life left" to be someone and do stuff. I belive he was running with a pirate group.
I can easily see this as a n option, with some clones, maybe even all clones. the issue we do not really have many incidents of clones dying of old age, and them ebing in their 40s aka +/- Battle of endor ( 91years after the fall of the republic). |
