Not really seeing how that translates into a force tradition...

I never said it did. He is force sensitive and he has an artifact that he can use to telepathically communicate with the blue bantha of Entooine. The blue bantha ordained him as a priest.

What a wonderfully kookie idea. I love it. Does he have an actual powers? If he does, does he think they are granted by the bantha?

The blue bantha are likewise force sensitive. Their main focus is sensing as they can see through the eyes of the bantha on 1000 planets. My players who are force sensitive have been learning piecemeal. They even found a Fallannassi (see the black fleet crisis novels and cracken’s threat dossier) who trained them in a few Force powers.

Here's an idea:

The Headhunter Graveyard is located on Bracca, an Outer Rim planet known for its sprawling starship graveyards and dismantling yards. Decades ago, a rogue shipwright guild built a secret repair and modification facility for Z-95 Headhunters on the outskirts of Bracca's largest scrap town. When the Empire rose to power, the facility was abandoned and buried under layers of junk and debris as the guild's members fled Imperial persecution.

Through investigation the players can discover the graveyard:

1. Old Guild Records: A salvaged datapad or a connection to an old guild member reveals the facility's coordinates.
2. Secret Map: A spacer's legend speaks of a "mountain of scrap" on Bracca where scavengers dare not tread due to persistent electrical storms.
3. Mysterious Lead: An encrypted message from their benefactor, hinting at the location and urging discretion.

When the players arrive at the location, they find not just a graveyard but a partially intact underground hangar. The facility was equipped to maintain and upgrade dozens of Z-95s, and many hulls and components are preserved under layers of debris. However, reaching and retrieving the prize won't be easy:

1. Hazards of Bracca:
- Scrap Quicksand: Moving through the scrapyard requires skill; unstable piles can collapse or swallow equipment.
- Rodian Scavenger Gang: A local gang claims the territory and is armed with cobbled-together weapons and makeshift speeders.
- Salvaged Droids: A swarm of half-functional repair droids, programmed to protect the facility, patrol the area and mistake the party for intruders.

2. Reactivating the Facility:
- The facility’s power systems are offline. To access the stored ships, the players must:
- Repair an old generator.
- Bypass a locked-down security system using slicing or brute force.
- Deal with power surges and malfunctioning systems as the hangar reactivates.

3. Imperial Entanglement:
- Unbeknownst to the party, the location has been flagged by an Imperial Salvage and Acquisition Unit. While the players work to reactivate the facility, an Imperial patrol arrives, looking to claim the Headhunters for their own use.

The party must decide whether to:
- Sabotage the facility to keep the Imperials from taking the ships.
- Try to negotiate or bribe their way out.
- Fight their way through, potentially with the help of a reactivated Z-95 or two.

There's an adventure there.

You can also have other hazards.. Beasts that love eating the junk don't want interlopers taking their lunch.
Flying beasts that feast on power cables (mynoks or the like). Those ferro crete slugs mentioned in the x-wing novels, have made their way through the facility, leaving lots of holes, and structural instability.
