So, after many years absence, I've returned with another update of our ongoing 3rd edition project with all the latest stuff we've come up with over the years. I've edited the first post in this chain so that the new link is the first thing that comes up.
But here's the latest document:

Recently, we returned to Star Wars after a good year-long hiatus, and I took the time to recompile the latest version of our rules into a new format for my players to use and enjoy. There are still some formatting issues I'm trying to iron out and some bits that aren't done - mostly things we just happen not to be using in our current game and haven't yet raised up on the list of priorities - so there will probably be more updates in the future. Hopefully it will still be an interesting resource for others.

Star Wars Unleashed Edition
The document was created purely to use among our own roleplaying group as a central resource for our current version of the game.
I'm sure this version is not for everyone, but this site has contributed a lot to the document over the years. All your wonderful fan produced material has been a wonderful inspiration to us over the years and we have incorporated more than a small amount of material from this site into our rules. I suspect all of the big contributors here would find something of their own in these rules somewhere, going back many decades.
Just off the top of my head, I think the Discernment skill came from here, our Astrogation rules, and while I'm sure we came up with the idea of the FOR attribute on our own (who hasn't), I've spent many fun hours reading through the various versions of that idea that have been posted here.
I would like to thank the REUP team especially, who inspired this latest update. The amount of work put into that document by a group of fans is truly incredible and I "borrowed" not only most of the layout that it used, but almost your whole "Galaxy" chapter as it is simply one of the best write-ups of the Stars Wars universe from a role-palying stance that I have ever seen.
Hopefully people here will still find something useful in here for them. |

Out of curiosity, do you share the link or do you host a copy of the file somewhere? If you share the link, it would mean as we make adjustments, it would update automatically is all.
I'm still trying to get the formatting to work properly. Word keeps compiling it wrong. Its made up of several different documents which word scrambles a little when it merges them. |

I would download it and upload it there. But I can wait a while to do that if there are still adjustments being done. After you feel pretty secure with it, post that here to let us know.
And then if there are updates in the future of that, just reply here that the original file was updated so I can then update the copy hosted by the Pit.

Success! After much gentle persuasion, I have convinced Word to publish the document without warping the formatting.
So this is the likely latest incarnation for a while.

Just done an update on the rules.
Star Wars Unleashed Edition
The changes are scattered throughout.
Our latest game has had a very dark, under-world, vibe. Gave me good reason to fill out some of the dark side talents in the Force chapter. You will find the Fleshcrafters of Nyx and the Sith have a lot of new material.
I finally added the Noghri to the alien chapter.
There's been a general clean-up and expansion of the dark side talents.
All the Force tradition edges have been moved to the Force chapter for consistency.
The Wardens of the Sky have got a proper edge and a few more unleashed talents.

 So, that is where they are supposed to be. But my group never uses templates - they like to do it themselves - and so I have very few examples to work with and they never quite make it to the top of the "to do" list. At some point, I'll start putting together the few I've made and put together a few more and add them to the end of the doc, but I don't know when that'll happen.
For now, that's where they would be.

Just to let everyone know that there's been another little update.
There's a few more bits and pieces throughout:
There's an extra Edge in the character creation chapter.
Added a couple more talents to the Sith chapter.
There are a few templates so that the chapter is in place. Still quite a few more of these to do, but a couple of my favourites have either been written up here or translated from other editions of the game.
Still having some minor formatting issues with the templates, but hopefully I'll get that fixed.
