Oh, I'm so glad to see the Fluffy thread pop again.
I was actually thinking of him the other day. Glad to see someone else remembers. _________________ __________________________________

I lost the ability to be on forums sometime around 2010. Seems like such a simple thing, but... My mental health isn't the best.
Glad to see people are still interested in my work. |

So, Fluffy, how does it feel to be out of Canon?
"Is good!"
Good?
"Yes, good. Good weapon." *BANG*
Let me guess, someone made him a Rancor-portable black powder cannon from those river pirates that attacked the starport as part of a really badly inspired native rebellion ...
"More arrows." |

That's the best I could come up with. I said this before, but you should add a few more emoticon. For this occasion, a "D'OH!" one and one having you bash your face against the wall would be appropriate. |

I stickied the thread to the top of this forum because Fluffy is the unofficial mascot of the Rancor Pit. |
That's as awesome as getting published in Shadowrun. |

Has anyone brought up the obvious? By obvious I refer of course to cybernetics for rancors?
I think a cybernetic interface jack for an astromech droid is a no-brainer to offset the lacking mechanical attribute. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

No, KageRyu, your cyborg Rancor is too big to fit in the astromech slot of your X-Wing to fly with you! _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Definitely an interesting image - though not what I had in mind. I was thinking of a Cybernetic Astromech socket as an implant on the rancor...sort of like characters in Shadow Run get data jacks. Though I am unsure how exactly this would be of use unless there were also cyberneticly grafted weapons.
Can a Hyperdrive be a cybernetic implant? I only ask because the astromech would need something to do. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

i'm not sure when, but now i wanna make a war veteran, who is traumatized by a crash landing on a Rancor planet. Rancors used the crash's survivors as dejarik pieces... and as snacks... _________________ Facing all that you fear will free you from yourself.
