Amazing episodes.
This is something completely different from Kenobi. Way different in tone and world presented. At the very beginning of the 1st episode it felt like Blade Runner.
Can we discuss the technology here already?

I made this post the 'spoilers allowed' thread, so yes.
I'm sorry, I've got a lot going on in my life right now and it slipped my mind that this show even started. Not even sure when we are going to watch it.
This is the new thread dedicated to the Andor series on Disney+. Spoilers are allowed here at any time. Outside of this thread, please see the Rancor Pit Spoiler Policy. Thank you. _________________ *

I re watched it today. There are some issues I was wondering about.
1.
Ferrix is in Morlani system.
Morlana One is.... in the same system (according to Wookiepedia)? But the Corpos flew from Morlana One to Ferrix through hyperspace. Its location is not mentioned in the series.
2.
Untraceable NS-9 Starpath Unit.
Vector crystals and seal still intact. You can track every Imperial coordinate for nine radial parsecs - Andor
So..."untraceable" does it mean it covers your exit vector and entry moment from scanners?
Tracking Imperial coordinates - you can scan for each entry/exit hyperspace vector (Imperial star charts) for starship presence? _________________ Don’t Let the Rules Get in the Way of a Good Story. |

Yay for the shout-outs to the Orlean Star Cab (GG 8: Scouts) and Fest (Rebel Alliance Sourcebook)! |

This show is the most West End Star Wars thing since '98.
Turns out Cassian Andor's template type is "Tough Native", I guess. |

4th episode available. This is where the fun begins
ISB HQ on Coruscant.
Senators surrounded by spies.
Mon Mothma and her...
To sum up. Being a kid, my SW RPG looked and felt like OT and PT (heroic and optimistic).
Now, when I returned to retcon/fix my players past and beginning, it does and feel like Andor and R1.
PS. I watched 4th episode with my wife.

What the???!!! You know, ehm, he must have had an AI with superb skill in astrogation installed to provide data for the navcomp in few seconds
So yes, Luthen is rich and always prepared. Very cool AI. I think pricing can be determined by using droid skill programing/purchase cost. _________________ Don’t Let the Rules Get in the Way of a Good Story. |

Having just finished ep 5 I was left with the rhought that perhaps this Cyril or what his name was the Corporate officer will trun rebel, I mean with a mother like his I can easily see that being an outcome.
More likley is that he will join the ISB in some form
But that mother I am sure could drive him to the rebels |

OMG waht a brilliant symbolism in the scene where Andor kills Skeet.
I belive this may be a more importatn scene than we realize, this is not simply Andor killing Skeet, but Andor killing actually killing "himself", as we hear what Skeet says about how they are alike, both growing up in a hole and knowing nothing else than to climb on others tto get the advantage....
I belive this si where Andor becomes the rebel, this is him killing his old self, and becomming more for the greater cause, and more formally jpins the rebels, but this is still a process, and this killing was the first step, he actually killed himself, by killing skeet.

I have the day off and caught up on Andor. I'm still really liking it!
No, it is not an action-packed extravaganza. Well, at least the pattern so far is, the final (third) episode of each arc is where most of the action is. The first two episodes of the arc are story and character development, building up to the action.
I love that it is a deep-dive into aspects of the Empire we haven't gotten to see much of before. The ISB, Imperial Senate, Corporate Sector, different facets of the Rebellion, etc. Really cool.
And perhaps the best part is that we're now six episodes in and still no contradictions to the films of the Lucas Saga era. This show is far superior to TBoBF and OWK.
I think I may wait until a story arc is completed and watch all three episodes from now on. _________________ *

True, but that's not saying much! Book of Boba Fett was fun but it was decidedly a story a kid would tell with his Kenner toys. It was almost the book of Kenner more than the Book of Boba Fett. |

Episode 8 is out. Did anybody have a nostalgia feeling of THX-1138? _________________ Don’t Let the Rules Get in the Way of a Good Story. |

Ok just got caught up. Wow. This show is just great. It feels like they hired the WEG team to write a new Star War.
Love that he did time with Melshi.
Wondering who the uncle is going to be. Maybe the ISB ladies boss is the uncle? |
