Welcome, Inquisitor.

Thread necromancy is fine, I believe.

Thread necromancy is fine, but we ask that you look for more recent threads where the same topic was discussed before bumping old threads. The same applies to posting new threads when there may be existing threads.

Thank you, DougRed4! Whill!

So far, i have found Two stat blocks for the Vigil-class corvette, both dated to 2014. Since then, it seems, FFG has made stats, and the current entry at Wookiepedia reflects those stats.
So far, every entry for FFG-sourced material is now part of Disney Canon.

I am only a few pages in to the D6 Stats for Fractalsponge Projects - The Rancor Pit thread, but i presume that is still a lively thread, as Mr. Hsiao is is still creating SW Content, and his work is still filtering into canon & licensed works.

When i take my own stab at making stats for the Vigil i figure it should go in both that thread and the Vigil-class corvette? Or maybe just bump the latter with a link to my stat's post?

Thank you very much for having me, and hello! I started playing WEGSW beginning with the 2nd Edition Revised book sometime around 96 or 97. Although it's been a long time since my last campaign, I started getting my book collection in order again with the hopes of getting something started. Probably using FoundryVTT and the excellent opend6 space module that has full support for SW.

At the very least, I'll be browsing around the board and checking out the vast discussions surrounding the game over the years, I've clearly missed out on a lot.

Thanks for the great Avatar slection, btw. I may change it up, but can't go wrong with Yoda, and I love his sequence in TLJ so I'll go with that for now.

Welcome to the Pit. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like; thread necro is not a crime.

You are very welcome! I put a lot of time and effort into having a great avatar selection here. Every time I see a profile without an avatar, I get a little sad.

I've been a long time lurker and decided to finally make an account after all these years.

I've been a long time GM/player of a variety of RPGs going all the way back to 1984. I was 8 years old when I saw Star Wars in the theater in 1977. I did see all of the original trilogy close to a thousand times since then.

Welcome! You must have the OT completely memorized by now.

I saw the original releases of the OT movies one time each in the theater, and then saw ANH on TV in '84, and then saw the trilogy on VHS in '87 which lead to me buying my own VHS set. I watched the entire trilogy almost every month for nearly 10 years. By '95 my original tapes were warped and worn so I got the new THX version of the trilogy to update my copies. If my count was correct, seeing the SE of ANH in the theater the first time in 1997 was my 100th viewing, with the two sequels hitting that mark while they were in the theater. After that I stopped counting and slowed down my watching of Star Wars, even as new movies got put into the rotation. Now I go several months without watching a Star Wars movie.

I doubt I've seen the OT 100 more times since early '97, so my total lifetime viewing count is probably a good amount less than 200 of those movies. Although the 4K versions on Disney+ are beautiful, I just have to not watch them much to preserve their specialness.

Hey, all.

Been a SW fan since childhood; was a bit too young for A New Hope or Empire in the theatres, but my first theatre movie was Return of the Jedi with my Old Man.

I got into WEG Star Wars with 2nd Edition, and have a moderate collection of books, though I haven’t played in a decade at least as grown-up stuff needed doing. What with the new Star Wars material being released in recent years generating renewed interest with some friends of mine, it seems I’ve been nominated to run the game once again! 😂

Glad to be here, as I’m sure I’ll be picking brains to run the best game I can.

Hi,
Another French user here (with similar poor english skill) ! Razz
Not the biggest SW fan (but seen SW-ANH in 1977 in movie theater), but as a long time roleplayer, SW is the unavoiable univers and system to play.
Actually, we play SW campaigns with two different teams with sometime crossing stories (really fun).
After d6online.com closed, I'm now very happy to find rancorpit ! Thank you for your welcome.
