I am fortunate enough to have met Mike once, and had dinner with him. I've since lost his contact info, which is a shame. He is a great guy, though, and I bought a few original pieces from him.
This is my small collection of his stuff.
This one's my favorite:
I've always loved the Coynites and I use them in every game I run. |

Great artwork fogger1138
I love this guy's illustrations, always one of my favourite parts of the WEG books. So much character and world building in such limited space. |

This guy is the best WEG artist in my opinion. Was able to correspond with him a couple of years ago and he was the nicest guy.
He has a deviant art account with a lot of his WEG art on it. Doesn't seem like he has been active since 2018 when he had a health scare. Hopefully he is well.
https://www.deviantart.com/caesar120 for those would like to see examples of his art. |

Thanks for the link! I've copied a bunch of his color images for use in many of my games, SW and others. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

To me, Vilardi is up there with McQuarrie and Joe Johnson in terms of how much their art created and affected me with Star Wars. I really wish I had the chance to correspond with him at least once. |

You could try messaging him through his deviantart page. No idea if he still checks it but it might be worth trying. |

I pinged him on there. Doubt he'll reply as its been a number of years but nothing ventured, nothing gained. |

I dug up the last email address I had from him and did the same - if he responds, I'll see how he feels about me sharing it. |
