Knocked this together for the Rogue One Galaxy Guide (yes, I'm still working on it!) and I thought I'd share...
Britarro
The mysterious and enigmatic Britarro people hail from the remote world of Britaxis Minor in the Outer Rim. Rarely seen far from their homeworld, the Britarro generally prefer to live in isolation from the rest of the galaxy and they are not overly welcoming to outsiders. This mindset and behaviour is largely driven by their natural cultural disposition, but it has also been reinforced by the events of a devastating civil war that followed the planet’s ‘discovery’ by jedi explorers some five hundred years before the rise of the Empire. The then subspace travelling Britarro were still uncertain if they were alone in the galaxy when a jedi explorer starship crash landed on Britaxis Minor and narrowly missed several occupied buildings. Rudely thrust onto the galactic stage, the Britarro people and their technology saw hyper-accelerated advancement over a few short years that rapidly changed the face of their home world forever. This swift change soon proved to be too much for some and they lamented the passing of their old way of life. What started as grumbles of discontent rapidly gave way to anger and outright civil war between the various factions on Britaxis Minor that was to last many, many years.
As the brutal war dragged on, the Jedi Council, which felt somewhat responsible for the terrible conflict, sent several delegations of jedi mediators to broker a peace. They all failed. The last attempt resulted in an ambush at the starport as they arrived, leaving several jedi dead and badly wounded. From this time onwards, the records of the exact events on Britaxis Minor are incomplete and highly fragmented, with little more remaining than vague spacer tales from reckless traders and smugglers that ventured to the planet during the war. Britaxis Minor and its troubled people faded into obscurity and from the consciousness of the wider galaxy.
Around a hundred years or so before the start of the Clones Wars, individual Britarro were once again spotted at large in galaxy. It remains unclear exactly how or why they started to reach out to the stars again, but the Britarro that are encountered will usually be of a warrior class, leading many to speculate that they could be outcasts or on some sort of quest. Regardless of the reason, most Britarro will refuse to discuss the matter with outsiders and the situation remains a mystery.
Personality: Britarro can be quick to anger and can be very aggressive if threatened both physically or emotionally. Their natural tendency to keep to themselves and their own kind can make them appear aloof and often rude to outsiders, making them difficult to build relationships with. The majority of Britarro are wary of jedi or other force users, with some holding an extreme hatred for them or anything associated with them.
