Quick, off the wall, question.
Does anyone have access to, or know who has access to, the Stormtrooper paper cutout images from adventurers journal?
Issue 3 I believe it was. The section for build your own Stormtrooper specialist or something.
I want to put together representations of all the different Stormtrooper types in my game (since finding images of them all of the same quality and orientation / pose is almost freaking impossible) so that my rebel players can have an enemy identification guide essentially, like pilots had in WWII.
I tried extracting the images by copying and they come back with black backgrounds which are almost impossible to remove cleanly. I even tried extracting the images themselves through Adobe but they come out as BMPs again with black backgrounds.
Hoping they are available and have transparent backgrounds if possible.
Anyone have them and can pass them on?
Thanks in advance!

It was Adventurers Journal, not the original WEG Adventure Journal...
The PDFs are available on the RPGGamer.org site...
I don't know really know who's producing them even....
[Edit]
Issue three has an article A little short for a stormtrooper, I think it was intended as a competition, but it would work great to be able to put together the recognition guide, I just can't seem to extract the images without black backgrounds... And trying to screenshot the pages gives lack luster quality images, when the embedded images are quite high resolution. _________________ "For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble." |

I got them, apparently Adobe Photoshop has the ability to import a PDF and extract the images (assuming the PDF is not protected), this I did not know until it was pointed out to me.
They came out as quite high res PNG images with transparency, so pretty much perfect.
I've uploaded them to my Google Drive in case anyone else is interested, they can be viewed / downloaded from here
I figure they were originally made to be photocopied out and such, so making them available shouldn't be much of an issue.

Cool! Thanks for sharing the image files you extracted. And please do share any new stormtroopers you create, image and stats. We'd love to see them! _________________ *
