We are very excited to announce several changes coming to Rancor Pit Forums in April!

(1) The Rancor Pit will soon install an 'auto-delete' feature that will automatically delete any new posts with any of the following forbidden terms: "polyhedral", "no initiative combat round", "Klaud", "Rey Skywalker", "JJ Abrams", "Greedo shot", "Anakin's padawan", "Vance", and "Coy". The first offense will generate a friendly warning message. Subsequent offenses will be subject to disciplinary actions (See below).

(2) Soon all forum users will have a 'Dark Side Points' stat appearing on user profiles and post author boxes to the left of posts. Effective April 15th, violating forum guidelines will apply Dark Side Points. Each DSP earned will charge a monetary fine of a sequentially increasing US dollar amount based on the Fibonacci Sequence.

(3) Effective April 30th, this website will become a paid subscription service with a low monthly fee of $6.66. Accepted forms of payment include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, and Cooter's Gift Cards. Stay tuned in the months ahead for a user "Character Points" program which will earn you a 13 cent rebate for each post that includes praise or appreciation for the Site Admin, up to a maximum of 50 per month.

(4) To offset website expenses, April will also bring a new feature of auto-linking any applicable terms in user posts to Wookieepedia.

(5) To further offset website expenses, pop-up video advertisements will randomly appear throughout the site, but we are developing a premium subscription to eliminate most of the ads, with a price of $9.99 per month.

(6) In April, the Rancor Pit will slowly begin the transition to a new website called "The Boar's Nest" as it becomes the official home for the upcoming roleplaying game, The Dukes of Hazzard D6, designed by Whill under the spiritual guidance of the Waylon Jennings!

(7) The Play-by-Post section of the forum will be replaced by a new section where each subscribing forum users will have their own forum to sell their official Star Wars and Dukes of Hazard products with reasonable consignment fees of 42%.

Watch this thread throughout the month of April for more updates! Yeeeee-haaaaaw!

Excitement awaits players of 'Dukes D6.' The gamemaster is called The Balladeer, and up to four players play Duke family members. There are multiple setting options in the Hazzard Multiverse. In the default setting that comes with the core game book, only the TV series seasons of 1-4 are canon. When Bo and Luke leave Hazard County to join the NASCAR race circuit, new cousins come to help out Uncle Jesse on the Duke farm (the PCs). A future supplement will allow you to play Bo, Luke, Daisy, Jesse, or even honorary Duke boy Crazy Cooter at various points in the canon timeline. Another supplement will allow you to set your game in the universe of the award-winning and critically acclaimed theatrical reboot films.

Thanks for the link to SWAG. Been a while since I sifted through the page, don't remember when but last I checked the site was down for quite some time.

I love going through the character portraits and saving a few for inspiration for my games. Sometimes in my solo games the game master character is totally based on what I see in the artwork. LoL

Yes. It's all tongue-in-cheek.

Can you imagine the required overhaul of the vehicle chase rules? Would be awesome.

No offense, but I find it something to be desired.
