"PM" button not working for me. [Brave]

I just tried to PM a forum user but the PM button on their profile doesn't work for me. When I press the PM button it just takes me to the main page of the forums.

Is that a forum glitch of some type or is it intentional, that is that use has blocked the receipt of private/direct messages?

I sent you a test PM, it works okay for me.

Maybe your web browser is having trouble with the site? I'm using FireFox.

Figures it's the browser I'm using "Brave".

I tested PM'ing in Chrome, Microsoft Edge as well as Opera and they all work.

Odd thing is "Brave" is really just Chrome reskinned with privacy in mind. So if something works in Chrome or Microsoft Edge (which is also chrome based) it should work with Brave.

Disabled pop-up blocker for www.rancorpit.com but no change.
Restarted Brave browser and now the PM button is working properly.

Odd, it "feels" inconsistent in how it's behaving, but then again I am a Gamorrean with only 1D in Technical.

I double checked your user account in my admin console and it is set for PM: Yes. There are no browser level settings. I have no experience with Brave. Thanks for testing it in all those browsers. This thread is good to be here in case anyone else runs into trouble.

In December several of us had an issue with Chrome (for PC and Mac) for a few days. No functionality issues, but a security warning that credit card fields with unsecure hypertext transfer protocol, neither of which apply to this site. It was a Google issue and they resolved it.

Only sharing this to demonstrate that there are sometimes browser-based issues at times. Even if Brave is based on Chrome, I guess that maybe some minute differences can creep in at times. I have never had any trouble sending or receiving PMs in Chrome.
