IF time/dimensional travel was real, and you could 'teleport' into the SW time line/galaxy..
A) Which time frame, would you love to visit.
B) What famous personage, would you love to meet
C) if you HAD to join a side, which would it be? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Very tough question to answer.
Part of me wants to say Empire for a side, but then I wouldn't want to do what the Empire does in the movies/shows. Another part wants to say Rebellion, but I also realize the awful life of a rebel until the collapse of the Empire. Rogue One showed the brutal reality of what so many rebel "agents" experience.
So I think I'd want to be right around the time of the Mandalorian.
I would like to meet Luke Skywalker. If I had to join a side, I'd probably join the New Republic and help out a Marshal in some out of the way location. |

Rebellion-Era.
And I'd be following The Doctor on where and what to do. |

Way to win the thread. This renders all other answers invalid. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Which war-torn and/or crime syndicate overrun intergalactic heckhole would I want to visit? None thanks.
I guess I'd want to go to some peaceable time and place (say, core world just before Ep. 1) and find out what it is that Star Wars people actually DO. I suspect there's so much war and violence because all productive work is done by droids and people have reached dangerously pathological levels of boredom. Star Wars seems like some dystopian "upside down" version of Asimov's utopian future, where all work is done by automation so people are free to all be artists and scientists. Only, in Star Wars, it's a past not a future, and they're freed up to pursue war and crime instead of art and science. |

The Phantom Menace Timeline (about 32BBY).
The Republic, while failing, seems to be having a 'last gasp' of it's golden age.
The Jedi are still respected and appear at their height.

I would definitely join the Mandalorians, so would probably be around the early Clone Wars. _________________ Alea Jacta Est - Julius Caesar |
