I haven't seen any of this show, but that thing is cool looking
Nice to see a non-military walker
Thanks for posting these shootingwomprats
On a related note, there seem to be a lot of pictures of that ship crashed or damaged, is the Mandolorian a terrible pilot? |

The picture - freaking sweet!
At the same time - the Empire adapting a military vehicle for non-military purposes? There's something wrong here. |

My guess is that the collapse of the Empire either forced the company to diversify their market, or that other organisations
snapped up the mothballed Imperial Walkers and made use of them for other purposes. |

It doesn't necessarily have to be a military vehicle being adapted for the civilian markets. Most militaries have armored recovery vehicles of some sort, used to transport damaged combat vehicles to repair yards. They'll also have combat engineering vehicles that are used to clear obstacles and the like. This could just as easily be an Imperial Army recovery/repair platform that got surplused out for civilian use post-Endor. Granted, the design is a little too bespoke for the purpose it's being used, but it's far from the only vehicle in the SWU that has that problem. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. True that . Even in WW2, when tanks really made an impact, there were still salvage tanks, min sweeping tanks, crane tanks, bridge carrier tanks etc.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

And, for the Ewoks, Log Rolling Tanks!
(I'm not kidding, they were used to tramp down barbed wire and allow wheeled vehicles to drive over it.) |

I assumed these were the same as the IO-CT walkers in Solo. Nice to see more models.

That one more resembled those cargo cranes at ports, than a walker. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I think it's entirely more likely that 'Walkers' of all kinds in Star Wars aren't necessarily military at all. They might be just something equivalent to a caterpillar.
Tanks happen to use caterpillar treads, just like bulldozers and other vehicles do.
We first saw the Empire using speeder bikes in RotJ. Is it logical then to assume that all speeders bikes seen subseuquently in Star Wars are therefore decommissioned military product?
Sometimes a walker is just a walker.

Screen time is not an accurate method of measuring demographics on a galactic scale. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
