That's a really cool video battle report, The Bissler
So much nostalgia from Epic 40k, used to play that a bit back when in came out. I still have a couple of Grav Tanks somewhere.
Your mini armies look awesome and I'm really impressed by the battlefied itself - the crater texture and the actual undulations
Also, the Star Wars music made me smile
Great stuff. |

I don't know why, but I suspect they couldn't charge a player $25-$30 for a single figure at that scale...
Seriously though, I thought they were bringing back Adeptus Titanicus in 8mm scale a few years ago. Wonder if that happened? |

Epic is back yes. I don't know what scale exactly other than that it's too big for 6mm.
Epic allegedly went away because the final, most streamlined version of the rules, proved unpopular and sales were disappointing. This came around the same time as some pretty bad mismanagement of Gorkamorka*, resulting in bad sales, so GW powers that be made the decision to mostly back off from specialist games.
*Apparently the sales were terrible except in the Anglosphere. They had huge amounts of foreign Gorkamorka stock left on hand. My theory is, only people who were really into Mad Max (ie, Anglophones) would've intuitively "got" Gorkamorka. |
