Bounty Hunter in the Tapani Sector

I'm running an adventure for a fellow who is playing an independent bounty hunter from the Core Worlds. He's got a job proposition in the Tapani Sector by House Pelagia.

They want an independent, non-aligned, somewhat untraceable bounty hunter to track down a known turn-coat in House Mercetti. This person was someone who was a "mole" in Pelagia during the time the great downfall of House Pelagia, when the Empire came in and plastered the Pelagian Homeworld and whalloped their space navy. Now Pelagia is slowly, secretly, building back up after losing so much and there is a group within the House that wants to get revenge on all of those that led to their great loss.

So that's the bare-bones framework. What I'm looking for is some ideas on what OTHER side things to throw at him, or challenges he might face by going into Mercetti on the hunt for his target.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Not knowing anything about the great houses etc, all i can think of is that the mole has his own guards, counter 'hunting' for him.

That sounds like a really cool premise for a campaign! I think you would be remiss to not include the Mecrosa Order/Sith aspect of Mercetti in some way, like perhaps eventually coming face-to-face with an inquisitor-level Dark Sider. And the Empire could also secretly be investigating the Mecrosa Order so the bounty hunter could get caught up in a conflict between Mercetti and an Imperial Inquisitor.
