Starting ANH on D+ at 8:34. See how far I can get before the overwhelming outcry from my kids forces me to watch more Team Umizoomi! _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

I want to appreciate, for a moment, the brilliance of:
"What makes you think there are settlements over there?"
*beeping noises*
"Don't get technical with me."
Like, b****, you just asked him. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Quick headcanon: The British accent common to Imperial Officers is a Core Worlds accent, and somewhat like BBC voice... something many of them wind up developing at the Academy. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

You ever think that Leia brings up "They're tracking us" to Han in arguments in later years? _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

LOL, cool. Thanks for posting this. Today is the 43rd anniversary of the original Star Wars film, and the 37 anniversary of RotJ.
We watched the TCW finale and RotS on May the 4th, and in between then and today we had watched Solo, RO, ANH, and TESB. So today we watched RotJ. We also watched all RotJ's deleted scenes, which I don't think I had seen since 2011.
The 4K Disney+ versions of the classic films look stunning on our big 4K TV we got in February. Except for "Ma klounkee" in ANH, these version don't add anything that wasn't in the blu-ray versions, but they do continue to clean-up the original effects shots to near perfection. I continued to notice things I've never noticed before.
I had seen these films about 100 times each by 1997, and I had only really only wanted to watch these 4K versions again because I had only seen them once before I had a 4K TV. I love how easy it is to pull all of the films up and watch parts of them on my computer (including Solo on Netflix until it migrates to Disney+ on July 10th). But I will be taking a long break from watching the CT films. RotJ's 40th anniversary will be in 2023, so I'm guessing it will probably not be until then. I want to get to the point of missing these films so they will be more exciting to watch.
My son is saying that right now his fave SW film is RotS, which was my "go-to" SW film over the 10-year downtime in between trilogies and still watched a lot over the past 5 years too, so RotS is starting to wear a little thin with me. My wife says her current fave is TFA ( ), but that is a fun movie that I've seen a lot less times. I think my go-to Star Wars films for the next three years will be RO and Solo. And TPM has aged well for me (It's actually the PT film most like the classic films). Plus, even at 21 years of age, Ive still seen TPM a lot less than the classic trilogy. TPM is the only PT film my wife even likes to watch.
So anyway, now that we are through recent viewings of the three immediately chronological prequel films and the three classic films, at no schedule we will now moving on to the Mandalorian documentaries and then rewatching the DT. We are going to watch the silent-film version of TLJ (music score only, no dialogue or sound effects), and I imagine will we will have fun by adding our own dialogue to it. I doubt I will have any desire to watch TLJ and TRoS again after this, probably ever. We'll see.
In celebration of the ANH and RotJ anniversaries today, please check out all the avatars I've added (RotJ is still a work in progress). _________________ *

I managed to make it through ESB before public outcry forced us to watch Mickey Mouse shorts. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Did ROTJ tonight. The boy (who is 5) picked out that Boushh was Leia as she was walking towards Han in carbonite. I have no idea how he did that. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Yep. I don't think I've even watched them through since he was born. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

The boy wants to watch Rogue One tonight. Anyone else have Star Wars plans? |
I work till 8, then have to get kids in bed, and drive the roommate to his work.
I'll be lucky to be remotely conscious by the end.
I did start, over the weekend, to work on formatting the d6 Space, Adventure, and Fantasy Disadvantages, Advantages, and Special Abilities for Star Wars, though. _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"
