I noticed on rereading the Long Shot Campaign that the background info on Fakir Sector states that Doneer'so was the Sector Capital for the Empire, but then in Trials of the Godking, it mentions Vakkar as being the Sector Capital. I jumped on Wikipedia and it seems this contradiction remains to this day!

Are they separated by any sort of time? I.E., one was the capital before the other? Like how Philadelphia used to be the U.S. Capitol until it moved to Washington D.C. in 1800?

Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind.

Perhaps - although Trials of the Godking where Vakkar is mentioned as the capital is the first mission in the Long Shot Campaign where the background establishes Doneer'so as the capital. I think it's just an oversight!

You could make an interesting in-story reason for the Empire moving the capital, or just ignore the contradiction and pick whichever one feels best for your campaign.

I'd pick whichever has the more thorough info for the capital.

Thanks both! I quite like Whill's idea; I was already considering writing an additional adventure where Reekeene's Roughnecks mount an assault upon an Imperial Base with the PCs at the heart of the action. If they succeed, the Empire would simply transfer their operations from one planet to another but, to suppress rumours of their humiliation, simply declare that they have decided the other planet is the capital of the Fakir Sector.
