This is just kind of a spitball but: How would you handle specializing in a Force Skill? Would you base it around specific powers? _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

Yes, I read just thinking about this two days ago.
Any specialized force skill would be to a force power.
One question would then be should that count to the prerequisite powers also? |

When I decided to make The Force an attribute, I thought about making powers into skills and/or skill specializations, but it just got too crunchy with all the power prerequisites and such. It would be a little easier to make powers into advanced skills because they already have prerequisites concept, but it still seems to be more trouble than it's worth. _________________ *

My first thought was to allow characters to specialize in one of the Sith disciplines, but I'm wondering if that might work better as an Advanced Skill... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Just thinking, the specialization would be for 1 power only.
If the power requires more then 1 skill then you can specialize in that power with each skill.
When rolling for that power you would use the specialization of that skill needed if you had it or the base skill.
Because there is so many powers I think it's not worth it but someone might want that. |
