This show just makes me SO happy.
That felt like an RPG mission for sure.
Appearances by classic alien species...
Superb casting choices.
Love it. |
It was a good episode. I thought it was interesting that the New Republic was using security droids. I thought the "third back gun" was stupid. _________________ *

Episode 6 did feel like an RPG session where a bunch of people made throwaway characters to hang out with the GM/Player duo.
I honestly found all of the criminals annoying except for the droid and the handler.
But, I still am enjoying the series even though E6 was the least interesting for me. _________________ RR

Isn't that a piece of equipment from one of the RPG supplements?
Maybe I imagined that.
I wasn't sure at first; but I kinda like it. I envision it as a very small droid with limited faculties.

the X-wing pilots seemed so....normal, average everyday sorta people compared to the over-the-top mercenaries.
And then I found out why! Creator cameos! lol |

And maybe somebody already mentioned it, but the ill-fated New Republic guard is the actor who voices Anakin in the Clone Wars series. _________________ Obligatory postscript: It's your game; you do you. |

I wondered: dex, mech skill or maybe stand alone AI with a blaster skill?
Flamethrower in the face was an example of successful STR damage resist roll? _________________ Don’t Let the Rules Get in the Way of a Good Story. |

I assumed that they just figured Devaronians are immune to fire. Because...y'know....they look like the devil. |

I love how they took the time to get into detail on how droids can learn and get their personalities in this episode. I get how it's a metaphor for how the mando should take care of the Child, but on another level it's also a metaphor on how the creators of this series care about it and make it grow. |

My wife was quite upset - "What do you mean it's done?! We should have 10 more minutes!"
I was still in shock by the cliffhanger, but she was so angry. Can't wait to see how the season ends. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |

Ah, that would also explain the blast door slam immunity _________________ Don’t Let the Rules Get in the Way of a Good Story. |

Episode "Chapter" 6 was my least favorite, I doubt I'd watch that one ever again. I've loved every episode until 6.
The criminals seemed too 'cartoony'. I thought that Mando letting them all live was too Disney-fied, considering he's killed Stormtroopers, Nizto (sp?) brigands, other bounty hunters, and Klantooine raiders up til that point.
Episode "Chapter" 7 made up for that in spades!!!! I actually let out an "arrrgh!!" when the episode ended!! I didn't want it to end. Fantastic episode and fantastic cliff hanger! |

He lets some die, from what I gathered he chose not to use beacon in the prison, and I am sure it is to not kill the "surprise" republic guard there.
So he killed the others when he uased the beacon in their ship. the pther guys in jail, well....he is a bounty hunter........many actually most of his bounties would end up there.......Bountyhunters aka law enforcement...... |

The beacon was activated on the prison ship by the guard.
There was just a ~20 min delay (for the x-wings to launch, hyperspace, etc.) _________________ Alea Jacta Est - Julius Caesar |
