Caelia Sol -- High Inquisitor

Caelia Sol is a High Inquisitor in the service of the empire during the Jedi Purge.

Early Life
Caelia was discovered at a young age by the Jedi in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. She was praised for her above average physical ability and she took to mastering the lessons at the Jedi temple with remarkable enthusiasm. As a youngling, Caelia established a jealous rivalry with another girl in her class, Kala Shane. In their younger years, Kala Shane seemed to be better in every way than Caelia: she was prettier, smarter, more agile and graceful, and her ability with the force seemed to overshadow everyone else in their age group at the temple. Over the years, Caelia's ambition to be better than Kala Shane motivated her to excel in all of her endeavors. In particular, she considered skill with the ligtsaber to be the most important measure of one Jedi's superiority over another's. In sparring matches, Kala Shane usually defeated her with infuriating and embarrassing facility. Caelia was so focused on being better than Kala, that she did not even realize how good she actually was.

Knighthood
Over the years, Caelia outgrew her awkward, prepubescent appearance. Incidentally, she became somewhat famous in the Jedi Order for being so strikingly good looking. She sensed what others thought of her, but did not really care: for her rivalry with Kala Shane was her most significant priority. As the two Jedi approached promotion to Jedi Knight, Caelia was ever intent on beating Kala to that prestigious rank. At the time her master recommended her for the Trials, she had heard of no other Jedi from her class that had been recommended. Upon successful completion, she returned to the temple only to find that she had to wait for her promotion ceremony until after Kala Shane's was complete!

As a Jedi Knight, Caelia was known for a stunning level of skill with a lightsaber, hailed by Cin Drallig as a quick study, and an excellent candidate for the position of saber instructor at the temple. During the Clone Wars, Caelia was selected by one of her peers, Dayle Hexor to serve on a special task force to search out and confront rogue force users who might join the separatist movement. This task force would later become the Imperial Inquisition, of which, Caelia would be a prominent and high ranking member.

The Clone Wars
Caelia participated in many military operations both within and without her special assignment. She was particularly fond of using the force to amplify her speed and agility, turning her into a whirlwind of controlled chaos on the battlefield. In one battle, General Grievous had heard that a Jedi was wreaking havoc on the defense force protecting a critical intelligence outpost. He ordered his transport to take him to where the battle was, but when he saw Caelia in action, he didn't even bother to confront her: he knew that he was no match, and instead fled for his life rather than protect the intelligence that was so vital to their strategy in that area. It was the intelligence gleaned from that mission that allowed the Republic to take control of an entire sector, significantly altering the course of the war.

Upon the issuance of Order 66, Caelia promptly destroyed the entire platoon of clone commandos, who had turned on her. Once she understood what had happened, she made haste to Courescant to confront the Chancellor, who had suffered some kind of intense ordeal, as evidenced by his hideous appearance. She approached the Chancellor boldly, not to attack him, but rather to demand to know why he had betrayed her. Surprised at her indignation, the Chancellor gave her opportunity to demonstrate her loyalty, sending her on an errand to destroy a group of Jedi who had been operating without the assistance of any clone troopers. Less than three days later, she returned with a collection of lightsabers which she presented to the emperor as proof of her fealty.

Personality
Caelia is manipulative. She uses her good looks to seduce or entice anyone who might be swayed by them, and uses her position or power to get what she wants. She harbors suspicion and envy toward anyone who might be a threat to her sense of pride. These traits have made her into a cunning and formidable investigator, able to elicit rumors and gossip from others in order to uncover the underlying facts. Where seduction and flattery fail, she resorts to coercion and intimidation. Any subject who does not acquiesce to her demands is dealt with in unspeakable ways, either to serve as an example to others who would withhold from her, or to compel the subject to “cooperate.” Caelia never kills anyone unnecessarily, however—perhaps due to the residual influence of her Jedi training.

Caelia will not fight any opponent against whom she has an obvious situational advantage. She declines help from allies and will wait, if necessary, before attacking an opponent until the opponent is fully prepared to fight. This is less a point of honor than a point of pride for her: she considers herself the second best lightsaber practitioner in the galaxy, deferring only to Maxxus, another High Inquisitor who was selected during the Clone Wars for the same reasons she was. Maxxus had been a mentor to her over the years, and it is impossible for her to disregard his skill, having seen first hand the depth and breadth of his knowledge of lightsaber combat. Since achieving the rank of Jedi Knight, Caelia has never lost a fight, despite giving her opponents every opportunity to prepare.

Notable Skills and Powers
Force Powers
Caelia's most notable use of the force is her high level of ability with force speed or celerity. She uses the force to move at supernatural speed, both over land and in battle. She is able to strike so fast and so precisely that noone, save for Maxxus has ever come close to beating her.

Caelia's interpersonal senses are also highly developed. She is able to feel what those around her feel, giving her insight into how to best manipulate them. She is also able to use the force to stimulate a feeling of security or safety toward herself in those around her, further augmenting her ability to charm or deceive.

Lightsaber Combat
Caelia is adept at many forms of lightsaber combat, able to speak authoritatively on all seven forms, and with clinical expertise on Makashi, Shien, and Juyo, the three forms which most influence her fighting style. In addition, she is a master of Jar'Kai, a fact that she keeps hidden from all but the most worthy of opponents. Her speed and quickness, combined with the use of two lightsabers makes her incomparably deadly against one or many opponents.

Special
