I had a player once make Dr. Ruoaghu, also a wookie. At one point, several characters had tried to open an airlock with security skill when they decided to just have the wookie force it open. When this was explained to him he let out a wookie roar translated as "these are SURGEON'S hands!"
Made my whole day.

These 1e posts are awesome and fantastic. Wajeb started in 2017, but he really was the single greatest advocate of 1e I have seen here. I saw Wajeb log on about week after his last post in 2018, and one or two other times since then, but not in a long time.
In my 1e days, I was king of the nerds in my high school. From 1988-90, I had 2-3 players groups any given time, so I played the game a lot (Once to twice a week - I was obviously in-between girlfriends in that time period, lol).
I have a lot of nostalgia for my 1e days, and I am still friends with a lot of my players from that time. I try to be helpful here and answer questions, but I haven't actually played 1e in 30 years. This 1e forum was created in 2015 by special request of a few 1e players, all of whom aren't here anymore.
I like the idea of a dedicated forum category for 1e, and I want to support those choosing to play 1e. I'd really love to see this 1e forum get more use. 1e gamers, please watch for new posts in this forum and support each other.
And for all the 2e gamers, if you played 1e at one time and still have knowledge of it, please watch for new 1e posts and chime in.
