A powergamer can be a roleplayer when the character's stats and equipment are at the bad-@$$ level.
A powergamer isn't a roleplayer if the character ends up with minimal stats and poor equipment, and the powergamer refuses to play the character to his best ability. Or is very unhappy about playing a "subpar" character. |

A power game doesn't take make lemonade. He makes you take the lemons back! He demands to talk to the GM, and uses a weapons engineering roll to invent a combustible lemon!! _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |

I just wonder if the issue is a super uber epic powerful character, or is it actually "bad" and uncreative role play, or maybe the combination.
A powerful character can be very well roleplayed, and then Idk if there is a problem even if the character makes emperor palpatine go to therapy for his inferiority complex |

Very true. Power gamers seem unsatisfied unless their character IS powerful. Where as the role player can play most anything he gets.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
