I started listening to this, and here are a few interesting notes...
-- The opening chapters are a pod-race scene where Anakin loses, crashing the pod, establishing Anakin being a slave but still a young kid, establishing his friends, mother, owner, and living conditions. I'd call it "nice" slavery, but slavery is slavery.
-- The Jedi are an ancient order of monks who focused on contemplation and meditation. They did not know of the Force when the order was created, and in fact, was an ancient order when it discovered it. The Jedi of today are not much like the original, non-Force Jedi. The order has changed quite a bit as it embraced the Force.
-- The Jedi typically are directed by the Chancellor, which is a lot different from the film. |

Yeah, both these things goes against the Legends/Canon narrative now. The first jedis where not an order before discovering the force. |

Off the top of my head...

...The Jedi are directed by the Chancellor in the film. You may be thinking of RotS which shows the Chancellor and the Jedi at odds with each other.
