Levv would sell you the shirt off your back and the shoes off your feet. He always has an extra map to the Katana Fleet for any sucker who comes along. Listening to this man is a mistake. Any quest he gives you will be more trouble than it's worth.
At any given time the following is true of Levv:
He is in massive debt
A criminal is after him
He has a scam going
The police are after him
Someone owes him money
He’s running an illegal gambling place
He has scammed a Hutt and their is a bounty on his head.
As an NPC, Levv has an incredibly high Con (effectively 9D at character creation). He will send your party out to do something for him, get them in a world of trouble and when they come back to complain, he will con them into thinking it was an honest mistake and send them off with another quest. It will likely take several quests before your party figures it all out.
As Levv plays both sides against the middle, eventually things will get to hot for him on whatever planet he is on. He packs up, takes whatever cash he has and leaves. As a master of disguise and expert forger, it won't be long until he is set up on a new world causing the same old trouble.
I will be sticking to character creation rules, You can pump him up to meet the needs of your group. |

Steel grew up on Gos Hutta. He went through the school system of this highly industrialized world, getting in trouble more often than not. He had too much energy, too much fight in him to sit in a classroom all day. Steel excelled in sports and as a teenager he gravitated to combat sports, especially shockboxing. Before he finished school he applied to the local Hutt military forces. He was accepted, contingent on him graduating, which he did, with average marks.
In the Hutt military Steel's specialty was powersuit combat. He was very good at it. While there were no wars to be fought at the time, there are always the occasional 'police action.' Steel volunteered for all of them.
After two five year terms, securing himself a half pension, Steel left the military, bought his armor, and joined up with a mercenary group.
Steel is the heavy hitter. When you need to go through a number of troops, Steel is the guy to send in to do it.
All Steel knows is fighting. It's what he loves to do. Art, literature and theatre do not call to his soul. He spends his money on beer, prostitutes and modifying his powersuit.
Like many of my NPCs, Steel's stats here are starting character stats. You can buff him up with a character point buy to suit your needs. As you do, increase his suit. His first modification would likely be to add in repulsor lifts. Then it's all about increasing the armor, the weapons damage, and his targeting system. |
