Ghtroc Industries

OK, I was looking for where Ghtroc Industries was based out of, and/or planets where they produced ships prior to their bankruptsy. The closest I have found to an answer was a refrence to buing based out of the outer rim. Anyone have a more specific location(s)? Thanks for any answers.

With a complete lack of people stepping forward with answers, I now open the thread to guesses and narrowing the field. Any info, even if not ccnclusive is welcome.

If I still don't have anything in a week, wild speculation will become welcome.

The week after that, I'm just gonna throw somthing in the air over the galaxy map, may the office exist where it lands.

It is possible it didn't have a specific race found it on their homeworld, and it was a colony world as the base when a bunch of shipbuilders got togethor and began to try and get into the galactic market.
The Ghtroc corporate history might even currently be an unwritten adventure, waiting for a GM and Players to take it up.

I'm joking about a random draw. I'm looking to buy a Ghtroc in the best condition I can find in a game set well past the original trilogy. So Ghtroc has been out of commision for a while. I know it's the outer rim, but I need to limit my search to a more specific area of space, preferably the home system / sector. If no one knows where they were based, I'll let the GM pick for story purposes. Just looking for a place to look.

The majority of the main continent is dominated by a massive scrap-field. Tons of spare parts. You can get anything there. That and I just love the style.
The Field of legless AT-AT hulls.
A buried Star Destroyer hull with the control section and others peaking out above the piles of other scrap.
The fact that the whole planet seems to have a tinge of rust.
All kinds of neat things.

What's with the random smiley posts? I mean, some of them aren't really in an appropriate place, they just don't make sense. At least say a line or two in the post...

Like:

I always got the feeling in the Star Wars universe that ship designers "liscensed" their designs to major shipyards to produce and then collected royalties for each ship of "X" design produced. Same for Droids and such. We know many of the corporations have facilities on many worlds, and many worlds that have shipyards aren't home to specific corporations, but they manufacture their vessels. So, if this were the case, it could be possible to find a relatively new Ghotroc at almost any outer rim world with shipyards. Kinda like automotive plants, eh

Just a thought.
