Astra's first clear memory is of losing her home to orbital bombardment carried out by the CIS during the Clone Wars and within weeks of that Alliance Organic troops killing her surviving Family, Friends, Neighbors and any one else she knew in a series of raids in the coming weeks. After the War she eas raised in a SAG Orphanage, when she reachd her teens she started Comp-Force training but was soon diverted to Pilot training when her her aptitudes became evident.
Soon after the start of her first deployment she was removed from active duty as a security risk, she had no background the Empire could leverage against her to ensure loyalty and she espoused a version of the New Orders Idioloigy that was becoming outdated for the detection the the Imperial Military would be headed in coming years.
She now works on a casual & Price-work basis in a starship Repair and Parts Center to try and cover the rent on a string of rooms she takes to live in, she also takes piloting jobs when she can find them. |

So far she has flowen a mission for the Trade Alliance where she Ramed Marines with her assigned TIE that where trying to land on the hull of a cargo ship she was protecting (turns out they where Rebels trying to hijack an Imperial arms shipment), she's stuned out and robed a Bounty Hunter that mistook her for a Bounty Head, blowen up the command ship of a local pirate band wile protecting a shipment for a Rebel fount company, stole back a shipment from gangsters that robbed the smugglers bringing stuff for the shop she works at.
she's got a hold of a non-space worthy TIE-pt and is fixing it up, provided she can make it all the way off of the Victory Class where she was bean held on trumped up charges under a false ID, she's on her 3rd disguise (a Gunner this time) and has almost made it back to the hanger bay where she had a TIE-sh fully prepped before she got all turned around. |

Constant work in progress, got it to near prototype capability with Bent Wings, lost a wing and had to salvage a set of original pattern Verticals, limping home I did my top tier upgraded generator, had to step back a few iterations.
had the Imps ceased my hanger, had to brake in to steal the ship back but had to abandon all the parts.
It's currently not working I've got it stashed in a warehouse in a disused industrial district. got two more Junkers stashed at an abandoned farm if I was to Frankenstein them together I still wouldn't have a working ship, but I could strip the right parts to get my original working again in a downgraded fashion. At the farm I've also got a fully working TIE Advance v1.
working on a deal with the Inspector Generals office to clear my file, I've got the use of a TIE Advance x1 that they have let me upgrade the Hyperdrive on or a TIE Shuttle depending on how far I have to go. even though I'm working for the IG's office I still spend a lot of time braking out of Star Destroyer Brigs for some reason? |

Concept wise, this is nearly identical to a character I wrote up years back. Was a rebel pilot, though, and X-wing apologist. For some reason, every time I made a piloting roll with that character, the dice were disproportionately 5s and 6s.
I love all the trouble this character seems to get into (and out of). Does the GM ever let up, though? I've had some sessions where it got to be so crazy with speedbumps and roadblocks and foiled plans that, when we finally succeded after what felt like forever, it was a big relief. We had an entire session of nothing but "roaming time" (taking care of off-camera stuff in a semi-in-character manner) and "arena battles" wherein the PCs are pitted against each other in hypothetical (as in, outside the timeline of the campaign) one-on-one match ups. |

What's an "X-wing apologist?" An apologist is "a person who offers an argument in defense of something controversial." What's controversial about the X-wing fighter? From what I've seen in both Legends and canon is that the X-wing design has been solid enough to be used and improved upon for decades. So why does it need an apologist? _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

Had a few pick up games of late, increased some skills and got Starfighter Engineering
But the big News is I found out where some of my stuff ended up, Vader & Thawn have bean trading it back and forth, Advanced Flight Suits, Helmet upgrades and even ships, I got pulled off a Job I was doing for the Imps and dragged abord the ISD Persecutor and had a at times pointed "Chat" about Fighter Escort Tactics and Operations with both men.
I got most of my stuff back, Darth took the -X1 I bean loaned and was tinkering with. My Record was cleared a few missions back, so I'm Freelancing again.
My stuff was just dumped in a hanger on the first world we stopped at, I now have ships parts and gear spread over three planets and am racking up rent & docking fees on a hanger I can't afford.
If I could get everything all in the one place I could have two fully upgraded (Maybe) ships or all four working ones (at differing levels of upgrade). to pay to have everything lunged about to get it all in one place I could buy a light freighter and do it myself |

Interesting to see the character's stat and story progression thus far, DB 2.0 -- are the other party members of the same squadron or unit, or are the pick up games structured so that people can just drop in, with a rotating cast where those that are regulars can continue the development of their PCs? |

It's mostly a Solo campaign, with lots of trapdoors for folks to drop in and out of for guest roles. next job is to clear a path through an old automated defense net to gain access to an abandoned Separatist fleet deport.
I think I've engineered my way around potential Buzz Droid Attacks |

Ok had a few more pickup games, game before last I was hired to find out what was happening to some freighters that went missing, spent weeks that turned in to months mapping the routs of the "missing" ships using my PT's X2 Hyperdrive, finding out they where part of a Free Traders Co-Op that dabbled in smuggling, for a bit I thought perhaps they where getting hit by Pirates or running afoul of the Law, after finding out they weren't on the Empires radar and where in good graces with most of the local Pirates I kept mapping weeks turned in to months the Client got tired of waiting for my to us a dinky X2 drive so they loaned me Freighter with a better Nav Comp and a X1 Drive, I then thought that perhaps my client was trying to steal the free traders secret Hyper-rout since it turned out they would cut a major amount of time by skipping a couple of stops on a hyper-lane or jump from one to an other all in the same stretch of space.
then I stumbled upon what was happening when I jumped in to an abandoned weigh-point where there had bean a big battle during the Clone Wars, one of the free traders had accidentally woken up a CIS Dreadnought and since all the other members of the co-op had stumbled in to the waiting S-Storm, as did I.
over a few days I salvaged parts from a Hyperdrive ring, a scraped Y-wing, a Delta-7 and a Hyena Bomber to franknstine together a working escape craft, the client was pissed about losing his X1 hyperdrive freighter, but was happy to find out most of his missing cargoes where largely intact and he could salvage a Clone Wars era battle-sight and have his own secret Hyper rout, once all the Droid Fighters where cleared out. |

Bean a wile, had some Pick up games over the past year, and some semi regular ones of late. I was able to buy a junker light freighter and get it space worthy, I flew about and consolidated all my parts fixing up space frames where I could and putting together a parts list to fully fix everything. all the credits for this came from the last adventure, but leaving me broke after paying out my debts and buying parts. had a couple of other adventures in my travels
all my PT's are now flying and have fair to good upgrades with one has got back to near top range upgrades, I've got a couple of C1 astromech droids and picked up a third degree droid and an R2.
any way I've bean fly missions for my last big client clearing out the old battle field I've had one of the C1's flying wing man (and doing a poor job of it), the droid fighters are all but cleared so we (Astra and some guest players) forced our way on to the CIS Dreadnought, I kind of snuck a bunch of OOM pilot droids and some B1's out from under the nose of the client, who has let me keep a Gozanti armored transport that I'm going to convert to an Assault Carrier. I'm going to do a head swap (for something that looks like an Imperial pilots helmet) and reprogram on the OOM's to turn them in to straighter pilot droids a couple more will end up as crew on the Gozanti. |

my GM has told me that I need Droid Engineering to design the Head swap for the OMM pilot droids I want to put in fighters, I may as well re do the hands and outer shells wile I'm at it if that's the case and install sensor & gunnery links. he also wants me to have Starship Engineering to supervise the conversion of the Gozanti. |
